Hey, Hazard-ish! Your videos are still being recommended as #1 on the KSP-genre, even a year later. I'm always amazed at the detail you put into your work. If you don't mind me being nosey - are you an engineer? Also - what's the last year held for you outside of KZread? Maybe your day-job is your focus, or maybe you're starting a Hazard-ish family? =]

  • @Hazardish

Hi! I know, it's really surprising to me to me that people still watch my content, and I read nearly all of my comments even if I hardly reply. I'm not an engineer - I'm currently still at university! I have been off the KZread scene for so long because of both university (studying physics) and mental health challenges. Sadly not as interesting as starting a family, haha! I do plan on returning and making videos again but it's difficult to find the time and I worry that I have lost the knack, but I do have projects planned. :)

@@Hazardish That's fantastic - glad to hear you're putting time into Future-Hazardish! And that is perfectly fine to be off the KZread scene - I can tell it must take dozens and dozens of hours of recording and editing to make such high quality videos. If you do give it another go down-the-road, feel free to keep it casual so that it doesn't cause as much mental anguish. You are incredibly talented, so just know that whatever you focus your time on, you have lots of us rooting you on from afar! I really hope University goes amazingly, and I'm excited for the great future that you're building for yourself! =]

How do you get the plane to go that fast without burning up in the atmosphere? I can't go past 500m/s without overheating....

You must’ve been flying quite low. If you fly above at least 15,000 metres, then you overheat less.

Actually, I don't know what's the deal here, because you can fly at sea level at over 1 km/s without overheating.

i havent played ksp in a long time but he did use a lot of radiators.. maybe that helped a bit with heat dispersion?

  • @rshnflmsrbllsht3319

Jangaal15 he only used radiators in cockpit, they disperse heat only from the closest area, so wings and tail aren't cooled by them.

It's not over-engineered at all. It's just engineered enough to fulfill it's role without any extra. Lots of wise choices had been made to make it happen, there were no place or weight for over-complicated designs.

I remember when I was a kid, I used to stay at my nan's house, and every day you would hear this sound, and you knew what it was, outside you would go and look up and there it was just roaring through the sky, that was always a majestic sight and my god I am glad that I got to see it in all its glory, because it was truly a magnificent sight to see.

That sure is a massive plane, too. I'm impressed with your patience! Oh yeah and by the way, you're running low on disk space, Hazard-ish!

Wow, your concorde is definitely better than mine XD, great video! Oh and i've got a question to ask you: How the hell did you get those amazing looking graphic modes? (especially like in the space shuttle from Laythe video) I know you use scatterer and EVE and bla bla bla... but I also use it and the result is really less impressive... Could you tell me if you use any configs or previous version of KSP for those modes? It would REALLY help me
