Building A 2 Stroke Twin Cafe Racer!! Is this the perfect one? PT. 2
Part 2 of Resto-modding a trashed Street Legal 1970's Yamaha RD350 two stroke and bring it back to its former glory. Many people simply thought I was wasting my time, but I like proving people wrong. There is something very special about the words "2 stroke and street legal" In the same sentence. Once you crack the throttle all your struggles fade away..

Yes 2 stroke action!!!
I'm glad to see another young person modifying and going against the grain with the RD. I'm really curious to see the next episode and see how you put together the rear disc as I'm looking to do the same on my RD. Don't let the old RD guys get to your head, the RD community can be pretty toxic.
I love how your sticking with the 2 stroke builds. I got to say you have came a long way sense your first couple of builds.
You actually decided to save that engine?! Dang. Great job, man.
When I graduated high school in ‘72 I bought a 1972 Rd 350 R5. It was my only form of transportation for 2 years. I rode the heck out of it. I rebuilt it and put on 30 mm mikunis and expansion chambers. It gained quite a reputation. Now I wish I still owned it.
Your skills in welding and fabrication have seriously improved from the cart build.
Thoroughly enjoyed! For those folks that said this bike was to far gone, don't underestimate the power of "V.B."
Old 2 stroke street bikes rip! Cool build glad that you are into old school stuff.
Came here from Goonzquad channel after your welding episode! And i don't regret it! Very nice content 👌👍
I built a 2 stroke Scrambler with a Yamaha Banshee engine in January. Cafe Racers, Scramblers, Exoskeleton, Brat-Bobs, Trackers, Beats, and Bobber builds are my favorite styles. I look forward to this build, it's going to be a fun bike. There ain't nothing like a twin purring and 2 Steppin in sync with each other. You're going to kill it, bro!
Super happy that u didn't do a 4stroke conversion, gotta keep them rds alive
You ever gonna finish a project and go enjoy it? The krosskart would be awesome to see the fruits of your labor.
I’m building a 74 Rd350 right now and to be honest...You got mad skills man. That bike you picked up was turnt. I’ve owned mine since 1994 but I didn’t take good care of it. Now it is getting the resto it has always deserved. I haven’t documented the build like you but I will share the videos with you when it’s done. I’m stoked to follow your build!
You have to have the crank pressed apart by a proper two-stroke crank building shop, the center seals MUST be replaced and the crank pressed back together & Trued straight & balanced.
Hope you enjoy this one! Purple shock spring or red? I was waiting on some parts for the mower and helping the folks out over at goonzquad
Love the tank that purple with the old chrome looks sick!!
Excellent!! My first bike was a 73 RD350A!! Looking forward to this build!
broheim, you need to make more videos and space out your content. You're making projects that are 10x better than most other crappy channels. AHEM CNC. you could be making a lot more off our views if you spaced out your content. As much as i love seeing how much work you've put into it in a single video, I dont think you're making as much as you could be. I LOVE YOUR WORK MAN!
Dude, that engine is a powerhouse classic. That thing as a Cafe racer is gonna scoot!
You dont mess around taking things apart😂💪👍 by the way that cr500 intake is still working great..had it out today rippin...thanks again✌
