Dude, you are hilarious. I was laughing so hard that I had tears in my eyes. I'm glad I found your DIM/DIY. But I don't have power tools and wood. So, I'm going to use reinforced cardboard and cardboard boxes. Construct with glue and tape. I'm going to add some type of foam covering for some cushioning, attached with strong adhesive under some carpet or material. I'm not brave enough to use power tools yet. Which means you'll be above "1st grade" by time I decide to build anything that requires power, other than my mighty glue gun. 🤣😂🤣 Happy building. 👍👏

so you understand, carpet is probably more rigid than cardboard,,,lol, no really, ikea, uses a kind of cardboard to fill in and actually strenghten their thicker looking boards, i'm about 164 lbs, and i can stand on them

same problem i have with the jigsaw, the blade wants to bend, in part, thats from pushing on the saw, it makes the blade bend , and the more you try to correct for it the worse it gets, just get a circular saw , you will be happy and keep what's left of your sanity, i hate the jigsaw

if you truely don't know what you're doing, it looks pretty damn good, the over cut you gt from the circ saw in those corners, just look at almost any construction video, and all the stair stringers have that same over cut, so you're doin really good
