Nice breakdown & setup. I know this was a couple years ago but i can hear the roof being nailed on somewhere close by in the neighborhood around you. As someone who spent many years doing just that i can pick up that distinct sound of nailgun shooting 5 -6 nails in each shingle as you go on up the roof. Anyways ill have to check out the AC to air compressor video too cause i wanna put one on my '00 7.3 f250 one of these days instead of a cheap wimpy 12v plug-in compressor. They work to put air in a tire, but just barely, especially having an E rated ¾ton tire that needs 65psi in them. I already burned up a cheap 12v compressor just topping off my tires once in awhile - they just cant keep up with higher pressures of these tires.

You do such a great job with your technical and fabrication knowledge. I amazes me that you don't get more readership. You clearly have a lot of great ideas for all off-roaders. Thanks for what you do!

Yep, it worked out great! When I shot the video I couldn't for the life of me remember who made the comment to use the leg tip. Thanks for the suggestion. It worked out great!

Hydraulic coupling caps may work.

Try looking in the grill section for a cap for your quick disconnect.

You don’t need the check valve on a single pump system. You use them on dual pump systems

It keeps the pressure from forcing back into the compressor. It will also help keep the pressure from leaking through the compressor. So, will it work without the check valve .. sorta. Will it work more efficiently with the check valve? ... yes. Parts of my regular job involves Electrical, HVAC, Medical Air compressors, and even medical vacuum pumps. Check valves always helps compressors and pumps work more efficiently.

Literally just took apart and greased up my compressor today, like 2 hours ago, lol. If your gonna do this, just rip it down and grease it!! Don't F- with the oiler and crap, more money, more complicated system and not worth it. Breaking it down was intimidating, but easy. I even tore my old gaskets was like hard plastic from being old. Picked up 1/32" gasket paper and remade it (should do a vid, lost art). Anyhow, only took 1.5 hours with all that complication to now never have to worry about oil.

I have so many times used cereal boxes to make gaskets. I totally agree, just grease it and be done with it. It is so much less headache in the end.

Ain't nothing about a hangover that's ok lol also Trojans or French ticklers for the quick disconnect cover that way you have I balloon to show you when it's leaking 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Two things, Ebay sells those craftsman box wrenches. 2nd, if that's just an air filter do I really need it? The air filter on my compressor should filter the air.....no?

Hello I have a denso 10s20f ac compressor, how can I convert that into a onboard compressor. I took it off a 04 GMC Yukon Denali. I want to use it for my air bag suspension and I have 2 tanks that are 150 psi’s each. Can u please help me out. Thank You & God Bless

I don't have one of those compressors to build so I'm not sure what it takes to mod them.

I've never measured it, I'd guess about 3 gallons. You can google the kg to PSI conversion. Thanks for checking out the video!

Small baloon? May be ok on your wood , but bro rubber like that won't last in the engine compartment.
