Im using 250watt 24volt pmdc motor and 24volt 10ah lithium ion batter with hailong case. But my controller is heating when we ride full throttle and bicycle getting off...Expert please help🙏🙏🙏...what will be the problem and solution...

You can also add a charger for the batteries so that while you are on the road the batteries can be recharged.

Manioj I agree solar panel good idea, AC charging station would depend on batteries being used. Also rear brake light could easily be incorporated into battery box design.

Would like to see specs on the kit he installed, motor could be used as generator to recharge batteries when driving as normal bike. Also go with plastic marine battery holder? Didn’t see grommets installed into metal battery box to protect wires rubbing and shorting? Like box idea for different battery configurations but controller may overheat so weather resistant venting might be considered. Very good video, would love to see a design where motor supplements the pedals instead of direct to rear wheel in order to utilize the different gears existing?

well done. inexpensive and simple kit. Only would like to advise using lithium batteries. they weigh less and have more capacity. lead batteries are very heavy.

Inspiring and practical

Nice job on the install. One suggestion if you haven't already addressed it. The gear mesh on the reduction box is way off. That's why the whining is so loud. I assume they are straight cut gears, so there will be whine, but not that loud. It sounds like the mesh is too tight/close. Fix it before it fixes itself! LOL

I have the same kit, exept 450w and tuned it up to 1000w. I had to weld mounting iron a bit to get chainline staith, but now its good, and holds whit big power. And is fast :) I recomend smoler freewheel to motor for better torq, but then use atleast 36 volts.

Can you make a resistive brake for it, or for an other project one? :-)

I was excited to build this until I heard how noisy it is. I havent built an ebike yet so maybe they are all like this. Good work though, looks like a neat kit.

Of all the conversion schemes for e-bikes, this is the best of all. Is it also possible to pedal to help the engine? It seems to be a bit weaker than others that have been installed on the other bikes.

monte este mismo kit, y debido a las medidas de la bici tubimos que soldar y un monton de complicaciones, pero vale la pena y es un motor potente, todo esto me ha sido de ayuda para aprender as sobre bicicletas electricas, y para comenzar es un kit perfecto. :D

I did it the same way: motor etc. 65 Euro's (say dollars), batteries 100 Euro's (say dollars). Bike: for free (old bike).

I purchased the same kit online however it didn’t come with the terminal connectors on the other wires in order to connect them up. Please could someone tell me what size these need to be so I can order the correct ones... Very helpful video on how to set it up! Thank you!
