I don't care if it's acted by kids. It's one of the best movies ever made. Back in Primary School, they showed us the movie and they told us THIS is going to be our play. And we loved it! Good times.

OMG love this movie awesome haven't seen bugsy Malone as kid in years brought back my childhood so great memories thank you

This film follows me everywhere! I did it at a dance school showcase when I was 10 years old, where I played Dandy Dan, my “men” were taller than me 16 year old girls! I was so short and had such a high pitched voice lol. Two years later I did it at school, I played a newspaper boy and Babyface and then two years later at my second dance school, for an exam I had to sing “So You Wanna be a Boxer”? I haven’t performed anything Bugsy Malone related for six years, I think I’m overdue one lol.

Jodie was great in that film!! Loved her in Taxi Driver, Silence of the Lambs and the Brave One! I was even inspired by her voice!

It seriously has some of the best lines in cinema :'D

How interesting that schools all over still do this as a play because most kids don't even know about the original movie. Maybe it's because it's a favorite movie of the instructors that saw this movie when they themselves were kids.

Jodie Foster is a genius

when my school did this play they had real splurge guns. it was hilarious watching people you'd grown up with just get cream in their faces

Knuckles and Lois ,were great,Lois as a half wit..nailed it lol..can't believe that most of em were British.. quality..👊

Yep, he is who I am most impressed with, he was a natural for Sam, but as he and the director both said they just wanted him to play himself because his 70's Brooklyn upbringing gave him that cocky, confident attitude that was perfect for the part.
