Coming along nice! Rust encapsulator can paint over the rust you cant get to. I say patch it together and seam seal it the best you can. Its going to be covered. The point is the rust is stopped and it does not leak.

That is exactly my plan after cutting out a little more and reading your comment. Seems like the least resistant path!

Love the hard work as always. Plasma is not great at cutting rust if you need the arc. I use air tools because they are generally smaller and get into tight spaces, for longevity also. I just put the carpet back in and painted my interior black. Wiring is put in under the carpet for audio and mood lights. Hit up your snap on dealer and see if they have a tool for you. I know we don't all have cash for it but see what they say. Found out I needed new heads after 6 bolts were seized and 1 broken tap. The new ones were a grand 😢 but I got em. We also have same electric red paint. I'm keeping that color though. Always look forward to your F build

Thanks Sean! I plan on investing in a solid air compressor in the future, so I will definitely be looking at solid air tools after I do. I feel for you after reading your story about your heads. That had to be incredibly frustrating!

@@GettinJunkDone hell ya do it. I used to sell them. Buy a used IR if you can, speedaire or quincy. The value is worth more in the long run. Something 15 cfm or more. I'm sure you have heard of Ospho for a rust converter. Good stuff. Since your truck looks to be used as a recreational off roader I'll suggest taking the bed off and style side it. Those fiberglass beds fetch a lot of $ as no aftermarket is made. Could keep or sell to get other parts. Well, I gotta turn the block over and regasket the pan, later bro. If you already knew everything I said, kindly disregard Lol
