This is the least barndo looking barndo I've seen from the outside. It looks like a conventional style home which is different. It's also a great use of space with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths in just 2500 sqft. Well done!

I LOVE watching you two and your videos. You are so down to earth and you genuinely want the average person to get ideas and you encourage people who are in "the just thinking about it" stage. I keep watching you for inspiration and taking notes on things I would want in mine. I like how you have simple to huge and fancy. I am more confident now that I will have one one day. I like how Josh breaks down pricing and approximate cost to things. It has shown me that owning one is not out of my reach. And I love y'alls calm, friendly demeanor. Nice looking, I'd have had the front door in a different locale.

We DO HAVE mountains in Texas! The Franklin Mountains on the west side of the state. Maybe you should go see them!? The Franklin Mountains of Texas are a small range 23 miles long, 3 miles wide that extend from El Paso, Texas north into New Mexico.

Finishing up on our new barndo plans, wife and I loving this blue 💙....What is the name of the blue? Looked similar to Hawaiian blue, but not sure would like to know.

Y’all should look in to using rocket stoves to heat a coil for radiant heat in concrete. Grid down and having your own large nature as tank and cords of wood is fantastic. Hot showers and cooking shouldn’t take away from what you have to use your generator for

Can the living space area expand, and can you expand certain rooms and closet space?

I like this one the best, and would like this layout with the large pull through shop. Hoping the wife likes it as once we sell in FL it is off to TX. How long is the average build time?

This is my favorite. Can these be built over a daylight basement and in Idaho, we get lots of snow?

We really like all your homes. Question: Can these be built in the Northern parts on the North East? We have property in Northern NH where the temperatures in the winter can get to be -20F and can last for weeks at 10F. Ground freeze up to 6 feet deep. Thanks.

How much would one of these run me with no gas appliances etc. and a wood burning fireplace we are looking to buy acerage and our forever home to raise our twins, dogs , and to be self sufficient

I love everything about barndos, except the open living areas. I don't think I've ever seen one without an open kitchen-in-the-living-room floor plan. I work my kitchen like an Army mule y'all. My kitchen is not always ready to receive guests. My kitchen would like a wall.

I know everyone wants to know the costs of these builds, and if these were homes that we for sale we would definitely disclose that information. However these homes are custom built homes for an individual and we don’t want to tell their business on here. Prices have definitely gone up since this house was started and pricing would be outdated anyways. Pricing would depend on your location and finish outs. We have a pricing video on our channel that tells our base pricing if you are truly interested in pricing.
