I learn many things here but i have no birds but i try to influence the people that care for the community budgie cage in the hall and i give sprouts, cucumber and apple plus cuttlefish bone and one spray millet a week for 3 birds to share.

Can I ask you something? I have a young adult pair of budgies that are loving and take care of each other, they mate and are visiting the nest most of the time both. But they don't make eggs. The same thing happened with the previous female that I lost half a year ago and the same male. I had budgies making babies 20 years ago without a problem. What am I doing wrong?

Ok so I have two buggies one male and one female. They are both over 13 months old and matched. I am trying to successfully breed them but I have not seen them breed. But my main reason I am writing this comment is that neither of mh buggies are interested in the nesting box, what can I do.

Hello I and a question , I have two budgies female and male . The female one has trusted me even it's climbing on my back but the male one it's still scare of even if I try to talk to it calmy even am placing my finger slowly to it's feeet near only but it is scared. I was asking if you can give me a few steps for gaining trust I don't have treats but I have it's food seeds. And how can you put a budgie back to it's cage when you have not gotten it's trust and you wanted to return it without hunting it. Then how can you know if it's sick or hen it's calling you or wanted to lay an egg please please tell me. Am a begginer❤

Hi, I used to watch this channel a lot when I got 2 birds in 2020, sadly had to give them away but I got donated a bird cage, will have to search for good toys, I owned a blue female budge and a yellow male fancy budgie and I also like cockatiels and wanted to ask if I should or would I be able to keep them both in a cage? I need your help, currently I have two cockatiels (1female 1male ) but i didn't bought them at the same time first i purchased male and when it started plucking its feather so i bring him a female to make them a bond even male liked it but the female didn't . Instead it started plucking its feather . she had plucked her flighting feathers from one wing (now male cockatiel isn't plucking his feather any more)

i have 4 budgies right now, we thought they were all male because that’s what they told us. but i just went to the vet today because one of them had a buldge in their chest which looked like it could be a egg, we found out it’s a female. but im not sure how old she is, i’ve had her for about a month now and im not sure if she’s too young to be breeding. my other budgies are definitely male because their nose is more blue and purple. should i put a nesting box in their cage for her ?

No, birds will ingest the cotton which will jam the crop and their food canal eventually leading to choking, may be fatal
