I don't think I've ever had Gammon it's not something we really eat here in Australia but I'm assuming it's like ham? I was just thinking though that if you added another liter of water to dilute the salt your potatoes would have made a yummy potato leek soup... but like I said I've never had gammon so still might have been salty. Everything looks so good my husband just bought us a large chicken so I can use it in several meals and make some stock. I do that often because it's so cheap. You can get a whole large chicken here is Aus for about the same as 500g of chicken breast! Stay safe.

Great meals vicki I made an amazing chicken and kale pasta using one of those bachelor chicken soup things you use what a fab recommendation!! Went down a treat! Also one of those jackets at the end of the tray looked like it had a monster face was kind of scaring me 🥴 xx

I love my slow cooker but I'm not as inventive as you. Most of the time I use chicken and I'm hopeless at portion control. This last week was slightly traumatic when my home phone line went down on Wednesday. Then I lost my broadband on Saturday. Aaagh! But the BT Openreach engineer arrived early Monday afternoon and, luckily, the fault was outside the house and was repaired in minutes. He was a nice chap but he made it clear he would not be coming indoors. Fair enough.

You did great job getting all those meals from just two sources of meat. I was thinking tonight, how I would have managed with my boys (twins) if they were still at home, especially when they were teenagers.
