In St Paul, MN they have tent city set up for the homeless. 3 years ago me, my sis, and my two nieces got lost going up to Brainerd MN to get some stuff. Well we got lost in St Paul and found tent city and in one of them they had a little baby that made us sad but thankful for what we have!

The worst place I ever saw homelessness is in Austin, TX. Although my sister in law in Colorado Springs says it’s bad there too. She works at a local library and homeless people come in an out a lot. A lot of it is veterans.

no need to apologize😁 🤪 I would however suggest watching some documentaries on the subject, this way if you encounter a similar situation , you know what is happening or what best to do

I like to make my own green smoothies every morning. Mixing up the greens everyday and using an organic vegetable protein powder. I usually add a little bit of fruit too.

Glad you went with Omnilux! It’s great but you do have to be consistent in the beginning and then maintenance is a breeze! Great investment! Seattle had such pretty Christmas lights!! I miss the lights too they just put a smile on your face! Happy New Year!! 🥳

The taco soup looks everything but healthy. The new year’s grapes are actually a Spanish tradition.

I’m in my late 50s and I was born in Puerto Rico and we always eat 12 grapes 🍇 on New years Eve at 12am 🎉 1 grapes for each month of the new year and you make a wish for each one as you eat them. This year I stayed up with my 30 something son and my 3year old granddaughter and as the countdown started my son hand me a cup with my 12 grapes then he explain to his daughter it’s a tradition to eat 12 grapes to bring in the New Year. I was very happy so see Our tradition passed on.

I live in the Seattle area Downtown has defiantly gone down hill since the pandemic with the homeless population its kind of depressing. I tend to avoid downtown. Glad you guys had fun and stayed safe. Downtown can still be fun just be aware of your surroundings. It was nice seeing Sydney back in the vlogs ( Have you guys ever tried Dicks burgers?) my Seattle favorite :)

Good to see Sydney!! You gals always have a great time. So, in 2 weeks my husband and I are flying for the second time every(1st time since 2006). I am a bit nervous b/c I am claustrophobic. What do you recommend I do to keep calm? It's a straight flight to Nashville but girl......I am nervous!! LOL!!! Love you videos!!

My gorgeous city is certainly struggling…our politicians have made it worse! We just had a clean sweep of the city council and a mayor who actually wants to clean things up…we’re all crossing our fingers. And sweet girl, please don’t walk around Pike Place Market in the dark again!! So good to see Sydney again!

Omg I know what hotel you stay at in Seattle. My airline stays at the same hotel. That area is really bad with the homeless, but when you are closer to Pike's, it's a little bit safer.

Designer brand stores (LV, Hermes, Chanel) in Paris on Champs-Elysees are locked and have a guard at the door. That certainly is expected there based on the tourist population and the wait lines. I am surprised Godard has a locked door in Dallas without having someone at the door.

Always good to see Sydney & Josh. Years ago I had a couple of work friends run away to Seattle. I believe that city has a reputation for welcoming runaways. Friends who still live there have also commented on the amount of homeless. I just wonder if we've failed society post Covid? Surely there weren't that many homeless before the pandemic?

It’s okay about saying what you said about the drug situation you are saying the truth. My son went to check out the area for job opportunity but the drug situation/homelessness made him think twice so he decided not to go. It’s sad but it’s an American problem that is being addressed the wrong way. Without getting political it’s a problem that will continue until a solution is found. Apart from it my son said the rent is outrageous considering the situation there. Glad to see have fun love your liveliness.

awww I met you in the Miami-Seattle flight (for me it was long, but not as bad as I thought it would be haha). I went to Portland last year, and I think that was way worse than downtown Seattle though :( although I haven't been in Seattle at night too much, I live in the east side which is much more quiet in that sense!

@@KaceyCassady it started in 2020 we are over flowing with homeless especially the ones with kids. and the drugies I don't like at all.

All you were doing was describing the reality of the situation not just in Seattle but in western Washington state with the drug use. The state of Washington gives Inmates drugs. It is what happens when you have a disgusting governor like Jay Inslee. I was a Seahawks season ticket holder for 16 years but no longer feel the trip into the city on Sunday's is worth it. I only go as far as the airport now. The sad thing is it stretches all the way down the I-5 corridor. It's the whole west coast.

To be fair, things have gotten much worse in the last few years. It doesn’t seem that long ago that Seattle and Portland were perfectly safe. So much has changed. People are struggling.
