As most ARMY know Suga has suffered for many years with depression, anxiety and OCD. After his panic attack had canceled the concert in Kobe, that he was refering to in this song, Suga went back to the venue when it was empty to reflect, he then had a short break , and wrote a long letter for ARMY (translation below) ... Hello, this is Suga. Many people were curious as to what I was doing on my break, and to simply put it, I walked a lot, slept a lot and thought a lot. I wanted to go on a trip to organize my thoughts before working on my mixtape. I also had a place I must go to. I wanted to do things I was able to do not as a 22-year old BTS’ Suga, but as a 22-year old Min Yoongi. It was a time where I looked back at myself. The things I will say now are things I wanted to share not as a singer to a fan or as BTS to ARMY, but to talk to you as human to human. I've always wanted to be a cool person to a lot of people. Having rational thoughts and making rational decisions in any situations. I wanted to live like my father. My father said to take a look around you when there's something to be happy about. Be calm and make rational decisions when happy. The first day when "I need u" got 1st place, I took a look at my surroundings. Every minute I'm happy, I acted as if I'm not. When I'm sad I acted as if I'm not. Even if I like it, I acted as if I don't like it. I pretended to be cold-hearted and pretended to be strong. If a joy is shared, it will be doubled but if a sadness is shared, it won't get smaller. That's what I thought. I know I'm a person who's bad at expressing my emotions but I've been living that way and I thought it's right. One day, I can't exactly remember when, I was in a car with my father and he said "Yoongi, don't live like me". The first day of vacation. The first day ever since I was born, I drank with my family. It has been 6 years since I left home. We were all just chatting, listening to stories that we haven't heard of. The strong and cool father that I know, knows how to feel hurt and sad, how to feel happy and love.. 1.5-pyeong in the practice room, my studio is my wide meadows and narrow prison. I can do anything and at the same time, I can't really do anything. I can work on music thoughtlessly for 20 hours, but I can also sit there and not do anything but just thinking for 20 hours. I was 11 years old when I first started writing my own lyrics. When I listen to good music, I will feel really excited and I feel really happy more than anything. To me, music is my hope and my happiness, I also want to be someone's hope and happiness. Actually I'm someone who would just walk away rather to crash and feel pain. Anyone hates being hurt and I don't want to get hurt. In "Nevermind", "If you feel like you a going to crash then accelerate more". Perharps, that's actually what I wanted to say to myself. The most upsetting time for me when I face a large number of people, is when I face myself who isn’t able to be fair to everyone. I didn’t want to hurt anyone, but there are times I couldn’t do that. I think I’m still a person that lacks in many things. The second day of the concert in Kobe... I don’t think I’ve ever slept deeply after that day. Could it be because of the fact that I gave a wound to many people? Whenever I fell asleep, I would wake up with cold sweat. Because I already once have not been able to go on stage before and have hurt many people, I said that I’ll go up (to perform) no matter what situation arises. Everyone tried to stop me. I really cried a ton at the situation of not being able to go up on stage. And I know crying is losing. It’s really easy for me to cope with my own sorrow, but witnessing those who love me in sadness is very hard. I made them sad, once again. If I could go back to that day, I would go on stage no matter what. So there was just one place to go. I went to Kobe during my break. Many people tried to stop me from going, but I didn’t want to be ashamed of myself any longer. So I just went to Kobe without planning. It was my second time visiting the concert venue after a concert. The first was Ax Hall at late night after finishing the first Red Bullet concert. The second time was the Kobe World Memorial Hall, at where I failed to perform. I hate becoming a numb person. I didn’t want to take the love and these glorious days for granted. I didn’t want to be a numb person. That’s why I visited the venues again on my own. (T/N: He’s saying he doesn’t want to take all the love he’s receiving as granted, he really wants to appreciate every single love he gets. He’s meaning numb in the way by how he wouldn’t be able to feel what the fans feel about him. He’s basically saying he wants to appreciate every love he gets from his fans) I liked being on stage, and I still do. When I was 15 and performed in front of 2 people I stood proudly and made eye contact with them during my performance. However after my debut I feel that I have not been righteous towards myself. I think it may be because I knew better than anyone that I wasn’t perfect. And then on the day of the first performance of HYYH on stage I made proud eye contact with the audience that I didn’t do in quite a while. But after the second day of the Kobe concert when I was unable to stand on stage, I didn’t have the courage to confidently confront the large number of people. So that’s why I visited Kobe, the concert hall again. I kept wandering around the area by the concert hall from the time I arrived there until the time our performance was due to begin that day. From the ticketing booth to the entrance and the concert hall - I wanted to feel the same emotions as you all from every nook and corner. I felt many emotions. Happiness, the excited nervousness felt while waiting for the performance, sadness, resentment, anger, regret, etc. I wanted to understand you all, and I do understand. So I’m sorry and apologetic, for I am not a perfect human being. I’m a person who is weak but acts strong. Once again I realized that I was a person who’s lacking. Although I’m not religious, I prayed at that place. After all, at the end, it was a fated day. Even if it’s ended, let’s not let this heart become numb. To me, who wanted to spend every moment alone, you all were taking up quite a large part (of my mind). Age and gender, nationality and religion, what language you use - all of that isn’t important. "Whether you're young or old, whether you have a hidden child, It doesn't matter", haven't I said this already. That day, we unexpectedly had a Music Bank broadcast and I boarded a plane and returned a day before planned. I returned after organizing my many thoughts. Once again, while feeling that I’m a blessed person, I felt that I need to be a person who lives every moment feeling thankful. This is the moment I realizied the fact that 22-year old Min Yoongi, who hates being an adult, is standing in front of the threshold to being an adult. Thank you for making me a blessed person, ARMY. Although I’m never able to say this because I’m bad at expressing myself. Here I am conveying my feelings and thoughts once more through a piece of less-than-satisfactory writing. I will live while being thankful of every moment as I am such a lacking human being. I love you, ARMY.

Hope he reads your comment because damn I myself have read the post/letter by Yoongi numerous times before and it still has me crying because you can just feel how achingly honest he is, how deeply he feels for people for fans for the whole situation that went down and how he didn't want to ever disappoint or make anyone feel emotions like sadness, anger, regret or even worry for him (and I'm sure back then army didn't have any other thoughts in their heads for him but just worry, wishing for him to be physically and mentally alright and to just be well). And that was when he was just 22....like idk if others are even fully able to comprehend that he was just a 22 year old which is so YOUNG and the way he wrote this whole letter just has my heart breaking for the emotional turmoil he went through, the hard and tough times but so so proud, happy and relieved that he got closure for himself the way he wanted it, let himself think, take everything in, his family and dad talking from experience giving him advice and just him being so so soooo strong in a different way than what he thought he should act/be in comparison to the past. And fast forward years later just seeing him thriving, happy, relaxed, comfortable just Yoongi being Yoongi. Working on himself and growing which is natural the longer you are on this earth but the tannies also do it very intentionally and r very conscious in wanting and putting in the work to be better people, adults, performers, artists, singers etc etc. I rambled a lot but yeahh 🥹 I just wish for the guys to always be healthy and happy and live a long long life like genuinely good people like them should and deserve nothing less in life and I really mean it

If you attended his concert, this is the final song he performs at the end with all of the cameras surrounding him - the one where he just walks off stage right at the end after finishing the song. Also, the song was released in 2016 and reflects his experiences in his late teens and beginnings with BTS. He’s in a much different place now and there’s no more hiding in the bathroom before concerts, or covering up insecurities. In fact, that’s a big part of completing the AgustD trilogy now. He said he doesn’t have to be that angry alter ego anymore. He’s living with and accepting his past.

You’re starting to see K-dramas are starting to really address mental health issues (see Tomorrow and The Glory, and D.P.). Additionally, younger Koreans acknowledge mental health is a problem in Korean society and pressures they face to get into the best universities and to be successful .

I got goosebumps the first time I heard his vocal tone mixed with these lyrics. It almost sounds like he was crying and screaming until his vocals were raw and then he started rapping. I agree though, BTS has a way of making it hard to respect their trauma because they put some bomb ass beats on it.

I can't remember where I got this from...I think yoongi said he hated The Last for a long time but now he's ok with it. even if he still has his down moments (we don't know but fairly speaking everyone does) he has healed a lot judging by his recent interviews Suga was asked what he feels about creating music that is so honest and raw about his pains and sufferings. Suga's answer: "it wasn't that difficult. Because we work on music a lot, we have many songs out there. So when we work on our individual projects, we always think about what to talk about. Now that we look back at those experiences, we feel thankful, because they enable us to tell various stories. And the things that used to be painful to recall. are not anymore, because releasing music also helps alleviate that emotion. For me it has been helpful. Many people are living with their traumatic memories, but i'm sure the moment will come when they overcome that. And i also think you need to go through the process where you organize these emotions. And for me, one of that process is releasing music" there's also this piece from another interview: “I think I’m happier now,” he confides. “I’ve realized that happiness doesn’t require much, and it can be quite simple. I used to think material things would give me happiness, and I worked hard to achieve them. But when I succeeded, I wasn’t so sure anymore. I don’t have many earthly desires anyway,” he says with a laugh. “Perhaps it’s because I now know that material things no longer give me great satisfaction. So now, I try to find happiness in simple things, such as getting up early in the morning and having decaf coffee. I’m glad I’ve finally got to experience this kind of joy. What I lost would be being ordinary. Your ordinary is my extraordinary, right? But I think time will solve this issue.” The Last is from his first mixtape. You can see that he has changed a lot since then by this quote of him: “My first mixtape was all about anger, but then everything was sorted out, right?” SUGA explains with a laugh. “I realized that I didn’t know who to be angry with anymore. Finally, I was able to look at myself. I’d been making a weapon out of anger and a sense of inferiority, but around 2018, my self-destructive rage slowly started to subside. I realized that I couldn’t channel creative energy through only those sorts of emotions any longer.” and now a recommendation for future yoongi's music reaction is his song People from second mixtape “‘People’ is my favorite song as well,” SUGA says. “Because it’s a record of four years of my life. I set aside most songs after they’re done, but I find myself relistening to ‘People’ all the time, and I experience different emotions each time I hear it. It’s a song I put on mostly when I’m feeling lonely and sentimental.” Suga/Agust D began writing music lyrics and working with MIDI at age 11 and held a part-time job composing and arranging music at a recording studio at age 16. Active under the name "Gloss" (wordplay on his name YoonGi, which means "to shine") as an underground rapper, He originally entered Big Hit Entertainment as a producer at age 17 in 2010, but was convinced to become a part of a new group (he was told he wouldn't have to dance!! LOL) as a rapper alongside members J-Hope and RM before making his debut as a member of BTS in 2013. In the initial years of his career in BTS, both he and his fellow group member RM faced criticism from the South Korean underground hip hop scene for "selling out" and becoming K-pop idols. Between his commitments as a member of BTS, Suga/Agust D took advantage of time on the plane and in hotel rooms after concerts to continuously produce and compose music. In an interview for Grazia Korea, Suga/Agust D expressed a desire to release the music he wanted to do without having to consider popular appeal or music ranking. He intended to release his music for free in the form of a mixtape to avoid such considerations, commenting that an album "has a feeling of being trapped in some sort of framework" due to the need for company involvement in promotion and advertising. Developing Agust D musically on the base of hip hop, much of Agust D's inspiration for the lyrics came from his own stories of dream, youth, and reality. In order to differentiate his work from that of his work as Suga, he developed the alter ego "Agust D".

Yoongi talking so openly about his mental health in his music and in BTS lyrics are what made me realize that it wasn’t weak to need help with my depression. The last especially…..hearing him be so so vulnerable and talk about his past suicide attempt and panic attacks truly changed me and I’ll forever be grateful to him and the rest of BTS for that. It’s especially more poignant knowing that mental health issues in South Korea are still super stigmatized and looked down on. The strength it took him to be vulnerable firstly but especially vulnerable when the thing you’re being vulnerable about is “normal”. I was lucky enough to be there for the opening night of his tour in New Jersey and I genuinely never believed I’d get to hear this one in person. It was so special and I left the venue feeling so healed

Thank you so much for this reaction. It was awesome. I would LOVE to see you dive into their discography from the beginning. Their first album 2 Kool 4 SKool has a LOT of old school hip hop influence and their debut videos No More Dreams and We Are Bulletproof Part Two are amazing. No More Dreams is the first video of theirs I ever saw (in 2019) and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I would say start at the beginning and watch their journey. The Last is such as an amazing song and I’m so grateful that Min Yoongi trusted us bring it out into the world. Thank you again for reacting to it.

I suggest the following songs to listen to (as BTS themselves always say, although they also make music as individuals, they are primarily a group, they are 7, not 1): 134340, Tomorrow, Path, Dis-ease, Dionysus, Outro: Wings, So What. In particular, I recommend 134340 first, although it may require some reading of explanations in addition to subtitles. Almost all BTS songs are characterized by the multilayered nature of the lyrics, so even someone who knows the Korean language may have to wonder, at first hearing many of their songs sound simple, but even the so-called "lighter" songs often contain a very meaningful or even poetic message. 💜

Yeah, it's the raw passion that drew me to him, in his lyrics, in his delivery, in his performances. It's magnetic. You just can't look away. He'll have an encore concert on August 4-6. They usually change things up in encore concerts, so I'm curious about what changes he'll make. Songs from RM: Wild Flower, everythingoes, Do You, forever rain J-hope: More, Arson, Daydream, Airplane Jimin: Like Crazy, Set Me Free Pt 2, Serendipity, Dear Army Jin: The Astronaut, Epiphany, Awake Jungkook: Stay Alive, Euphoria, Still With You, V: Singularity, Winter Bear, Christmas Tree J

Min Suga is a master of raw and unapologetic story telling and you are dang right about him being relatable, honest and courageous. I also think his song writing skill is beyond extraordinary because he doesn’t stay doomy gloomy depressive - he hits you, he rips you open, he makes you cry and bleed but then he builds you back up, he offers comfort and gives hope. His music is transcendental and cathartic ( for me at least it is). I do not know another artist that would be so relatable and that would command so much respect and admiration. Yoongi is beyond special.

This song tears me apart and lifts me up at the same time. Whenever I hear it, it’s heart wrenching; yet so moving. In the part where he says, “it’s not that I couldn’t go to ‘Show Me the Money” (a Korean variety tv show), is that I wouldn’t”, he’s telling the K rappers who had looked down on him and said he couldn’t be on that show that he was invited, but chose not to go. Then on the next line he tells them, it’s not that they wouldn’t go, but they couldn’t because THEY were not invited!! I loved that!!! MIC DROP🎤🤣🤣 🫶🏻🫰🏻💜💜🫰🏻🫶🏻

The second half of this song for me is just sublime the raw grit and aggression/passion he spat it out. He really is unafraid to bear his soul and talk about real life issues that is what makes SUGA and BTS so different from anyone else

I love how you really notice all the things that make these songs so incredible.. I really love the way Yoongi uses ad libs and his breath to punctuate his music. It carries so much meaning and emotion.. The Last feels really heavy and intense in both the lyrics and the delivery. Even before I read the lyrics, I felt the bare honesty, vulnerability and breathless, emotional weight. I think the reason why we mention that both the Last and Amygdala can be triggering is coz these topics are being covered from a very real, vulnerable place. My heart and mind process it differently from similar topics in fiction. I can watch practically any movie under the sun without flinching, but when it's Yoongi baring his soul, it's very different. The desire for his well-being, the immense respect for his strength and bravery, and the sadness for his pain and struggles, all culminate viscerally. Seeing him smile and laugh so freely these days gives me so much joy. I just feel so proud of him for how much more at peace he seems to be now. Just wanted to share that the second last line of the song was not right in this lyric video. I'll post doolset's translation of the last verse so you get to see it in context: From Seiko to Rolex, from Ax (Hall) to Gymnastics (Arena) Tens of thousands nod to one hand gesture of mine I was born out of Han uh look at me right uh Those who used to sell us out, it’s not that you didn’t do it, you couldn’t do it shit Background information: Han is a mix of sorrow, nostalgia, anger, pain, and hope. It’s the emotional journey and state of mind of someone who has been gravely wronged but is powerless (made powerless) in society to take revenge but decides eventually to cling to the hope of a better future when you overcome your Han. I love how he says he was born out of Han because you can really see its existence in a lot of his and BTS' music..

If you’re interested in seeing some amazing ot7 work, I’d suggest black swan MV. Great song, video and choreo. Personally for me, I became army after seeing fake love so I’d also love for you to hear that too. Bts’ earlier work also has a storyline within the MVs. Similar to how there is an MCU we have something called the BU (bangtan universe). In which each member has his own fictional storyline and each MV links to create the BU along with other things like the notes in their albums etc. it’s quite a lot to wrap your head around. Many ARMYS haven’t even mastered it lol. But it’s still super interesting to get into. Hope you’ll check it out! 💜

I read a part of the BTS's book and (not spoler) it talks how SUGA sings in I NEED U. "With intensisty and sadness appearing constantly alongside one another, listener feel sad while also becoming more and more elated"... it's been a while man, I think you are one of the few reactors that Army can really appreciate because you have the most simplistic set-up, but your content is of superb quality. I can feel how you try to understand and break down the song that you are reacting to and that is what really draws me to your channel. I have been feeling quite low the past few days and somehow when I saw that you have uploaded a new content, it cheered me up a lot. I really like how you do your reaction and I am hoping to watch more from you. My fellow Army's have expressed most of what I felt for this song as I have also watched his concert but only through live broadcast which is where I should say I feel jealous that you beat me to his live concert cause I think you'd know why every Army dreams of going to one. Vulnerability, that is the right term to describe Agust D and BTS as a whole, I am guessing that since women are more accepting to it that is why we are mainly what the fandom consists of. I am glad you are accepting as well. I have really more to say but... it would be dragging. Cheers to you and until then. I personally like Spring Day (OT7) but it is a song that should be covered with help from translators and there is a video fully explaining what it means but since I am drinking soju at the moment, I can not drop the that link....also, I really like Black Swan(OT7) and many many more depending on which mood I am in.

I have to say, he gets the least amount of hate from the fake fans, solo fans, antis, and social media in general. I loved how he ended his tour set with The Last and went in reverse chronology. The fact that this was the last song is fucking genius. Every time he performed this on tour was magic, he poured his heart and soul out on this song…and the vcr that preceded it was so poignant because he was literally setting fire to his mind and what it held of the past. In his documentary Road to DDAY he said that this album is a new beginning (I’m paraphrasing) and he hoped he could find peace. I think he has.

You almost feel yourself being exposed and at the same time can relate to him knowing he’s been through some of the same things your are or did go through. He is one person I’ll be forever grateful for because he cares enough to help others so that maybe his lyrics may help them. The same with Amygdala. He opens himself up to be vulnerable (in front of millions), we know we are not alone and can lean on his words to help us through. And at the same time, we are there for him. The reason why Amydgala and The Last are so gut-wrenching is exactly because so many of us have felt this same pain, and you can hear it in Yoongi’s voice in both songs. They make me cry every single time because I too suffer with depression and I know exactly what he’s talking about. His monster is his ambition/greed, but all of us have a monster, it just comes with a personalized face for everyone. And the end with the rawness in his voice? The anger, the pain, but also the courage, the resilience and the confidence to own up to everything. Yoongi is an inspiration in so many levels. I just hope these days he feels less pain and more love all around. Also love your reactions!

I love your reactions! I hit the Like button even before watching the video 😂😂 Well, I will recommend three songs to you that are related, sang by the rap line. Persona by RM, Shadow by Suga and Ego by J hope. This are based on Carl Jung's Theory about "the self" and I'm sure there is a lot of armys that can explain it way better than me, I just love those three songs. For Shadow, I recommend watching the lyric video first, since the mv is a shorter version. I found this by corvyvonseg that I think explain the concepts of Persona, Shadow and Ego really well. The Persona The persona is our “social mask”. It is probably the one that is the easiest to identify within ourselves, as well. Using the Iceberg analogy, it is the thing that sits above the water that everyone can see. In a sense, it’s also the only thing we have a sense of control over. I’m not going to go into this too much as I do think it’s very simple to understand. The Ego This part of ourselves is often misinterpreted but actually, we’re usually very aware of it. I think most of us have an idea of what an “Ego” is, but I do believe a lot of us don’t realize how it relates to us in our own self-image. We often hear that people with narcissistic personalities have a “big ego”. But what does that mean? It’s like if were to ask someone, “What do you mean by ‘ego’?” I don’t think many people would really know how to describe it. I find that the simplest definition of Ego that I’ve come to understand is it’s the thing that protects us from feeling vulnerable. In other terms, it’s the hidden persona that protects our “Self”, but it’s not usually seen by others, hence the bottom part of the iceberg that sits under the water. The Shadow This, like the ego, is deeply misunderstood, but the key difference here is most of us are not aware of what the Shadow is, or how it impacts our personality. Have you ever had violent thoughts or even small outbursts of anger and upon self-reflection you think “That’s not me. I would never do that.” That’s the Shadow speaking and the Ego protecting you from identifying with said thoughts or actions. The Shadow is, at its core, the dark parts of us that make us human. The Shadow is called the Shadow, I believe, because it’s much like our own shadow we see in the sunlight. If you go outside and look down, what do you see? Your shadow, right? Would you say that this “shadow” is you? Some would say no, and then go off and give a scientific answer of how light, reflection, and movement works, and could give a very “academic” reason why this shadow is not you, but it doesn’t feel like the “right” answer. The simple answer is yes, this shadow, caused by you blocking the sunlight, is you. When you move your hand up, the shadow moves with you. When you run, it matches your speed. And, while we don’t usually think of it like this, even in the dark, our shadow is still there, we just don’t see it. Much like we don’t think we’re the kinds of people who could say or do the things we see on TV or the thoughts that cross our minds, we need to understand that we are, indeed, capable of becoming these people ourselves, no matter how twisted and evil they may be. I always felt like this was a good metaphor because it highlights the fact that most of us live in the dark, unaware of our own shadow. It’s only until you step into the light do you see what’s behind you. To relate this to the Iceberg, it’s like the water. The movements of the water control where it will flow. While we might think the Iceberg moves on its own, it’s the water underneath that controls everything. Well, thank you again for your reaction! I loved it! Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my first language. Greetings from Argentina!

Not just the beat, not just the lyric, not just the message but the delivery, the passion, the vulnerability of the real person behind the music. You’re literally the only reactor I watch because of that. I’m sure you’ll get a ton of recommendations. Mic Drop is a dope ass video, Steve Aoki doing beats and there’s a live music show performance of it where you see how hard they can go, it’s mind-blowing. But my favorite for the whole package, stage, music, visuals, choreo and performance is their 2019 Dionysus MMA performance. Nobody does it like BTS. That is nothing but fact. Oh happy day! I’m glad you watched this. I always felt that this song was important to hear/see, for anyone checking out his music. Fills him out a bit as a person. 💜 And even if you watch it on your own time, his song ‘First Love’ also adds some color to his canvas - and I recommend the 2017 concert live version with lyrics.

having watched you come into the fold, I'm so glad that you got to see this magic in concert. I appreciate your respect for the craft and for his incredible power and vulnerability. BTS heals, and this is part of why. he's my bias for a reason--he helps me sit with my own trauma and feel taken care of.

To me it’s relatable not just because I suffer from some of the same mental difficulties, but also because they’re really hard to talk about. So to see AgustD, who is adored by literally MILLIONS of people, being so raw and honest about something that most people sweep under the rug, is one of the greatest gifts he can give to ARMYs like me. If he can rap about it to the entire damn world, maybe I can talk about it to my family and friends and therapist.

Honestly if you liked the message in Haegeum I would highly recommend baepsae (silver spoon), spine breaker and go go as well as spring day, all by BTS. You will definitely need to watch an explanation video to understand these songs and their social/political context. Strange by RM and Agust D is also definitely worth a listen! Thanks for another great video!

"AMYGDALA" got from a name of a disease. The one who has that disease they cannot feel fear or pain or happiness. That is a disease related to brain cells. (This disease was wrote in Song Won Pyo's novel that was wrote in 2017 named as "Almond") Because of the less growth of "Amygdalae" or 2 neurons In the deep of the brain fear or anger cannot feel to the patient. So the difficulties that face by the patient who has this disease can be seen in that novel. So in Agust-D's song also got this name to his song also.

I remember when this mixtape first dropped and I was literally at work at the time. Teenage me was working at Target but best believe i slipped on one headphone and had to listen. The moment I heard this song i burst into tears. You could just FEEL the raw energy without translation. But since I understood a bit of Korean I understood the "Min yoongi is dead, I killed him" line stuck and it broke me. It was alot.

This is exactly what I felt when I first heard The Last. The passion was so intense it was perfectly conveyed from the artist to the listener. It really explodes with all the feelings he is trying to explain to me and it actually made a connection that I cannot explain. He really did put out his soul recording this (and I also wished that they had recorded the session too). Like I can still remember the first time I heard it, I was flabbergasted, and mind you I have not read the english translation yet. I WAS LEFT IN AWE. The only word that came out of my mouth is a slow "Wow. 😳"

omg ur back!!! I clicked on the notif as soon as it appeared and immediately started watching :D it is now 4.45 am and I am commenting on this video. The album Agust D was released on 2016, and Yoongi has changed so so much since then. I think if you listen to all 3 of his albums one by one, you will be able to hear and understand the difference in him from then until now, and how much he has changed since then in terms of himself and his outlook on life. If you knew him from back then, or if you watch his old videos vs now, you can really see how much he has changed, and how much he has grown and made peace with his traumas and troubles. It makes me seriously happy to see him so happy and smiling a lot more now. He's much more carefree and expressive now. Can't get enough of that cute gummy smile. Fun fact: though you may not find the behind the scenes of him recording The Last, BTS actually have behind the scenes videos for literally almost every single piece of their content. They're all posted on the official BANGTANTV channel, and it's pretty easy to find them. If you are curious about the making of the music videos of Daechwita, Haegeum and AMYGDALA for example, you can easily watch them here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kYd1w6ykeLy4lpc.html (Haegeum), kzread.info/dash/bejne/paptyrFmhd2xmKQ.html (AMYGDALA), kzread.info/dash/bejne/fYuGrJp8haXZiKw.html (Daechwita). The creative processes, acting and props behind these videos are seriously really incredible, and not only that, I think watching these videos would also really help you get to know Yoongi as Min Yoongi the person instead of just SUGA or Agust D. Lastly, my recommendations for the songs you should really check out next: - We are Bulletproof Pt 2 (featuring the entire band, one of their old songs that's heavy on rap) - I Need U (very very iconic, I think it's one of their first songs to blow up. and maybe it's time for you to get into the HYYHverse lol. During this period of time, BTS created MVs that are interconnected with one another, playing as fictional characters of themselves. The theories during this time was seriously insane. This storyline (known as BU (Bangtan Universe) or HYYH AU/verse) is actually being made into a Korean drama right now) - And while we're on that you should definitely check out RUN!!! - Definitely, DEFINITELY check out RUN BTS (the song, not the show). It's one of the songs in their anthology album PROOF, their last album as a group before their hiatus. It's a really great song with awesome choreo and it's about their journey as a group from the very beginning! Definitely check out the live performance in the Busan concert! - Dope! Another iconic banger! - FIRE! One of their many very very famous songs! - Butterfly (a vocal line classic. seriously beautiful soulful singing and emotional lyrics. like it just really tugs at your heartstrings) - Silver Spoon (or Baepsae). I think you would weep when you read the lyrics lol. we boutta get a wholeass rant about generational and class differences lmao - Intro: Boy Meets Evil (some j-hope love!!! He was amazing in this! Definitely also check out live performances because this man's dancing is OUT OF THIS WORLD!) - Singularity (sung by V. incredibly iconic. I just love the way Bangtan has like every single genre imaginable in their entire discography) - Blood Sweat & Tears and Black Swan are literal icons. You haven't seen BTS yet if you haven't heard those songs :D - The true queen of BTS songs, the undefeatable Spring Day. This song is STILL winning awards now even after more than 6 years since its initial release. not only are the lyrics super poignant and heartwrenching (just like every other one of their songs, lets be honest), this song has also been speculated to refer to the Sewol Ferry tragedy) - FAKE LOVE. another icon. The MV is literally insane. you'll have fun with the theorizing! - Trivia: Love. A banger by RM. I think you will have a LOT of fun with the lyrics! - Trivia: Seesaw. You will maybe remember this as the song Yoongi sang in the concert with the guitar. A true icon fr. Changed the very fabric of the universe, or maybe that's just my biased opinion - Dionysus. I believe you will actually have a mental breakdown when you watch the live performances, because I certainly did. The level of production is genuinely insane. It just goes to show how much passion and love BTS always ALWAYS pours into their craft - Interlude: Shadow. Another song by Yoongi from the concert setlist. The MV is stunning, the lyrics even more so. You will definitely have a field day with this, just like I did. They're such poignant lyrics omfg - Outro: Ego. (j-hope

He shows amazing self-awareness when you realize he released it in 2016, and who knows how long it was marinating in a notebook. You're right- you don't see that onstage, not because he's hiding it, but because he has worked through it. And as painful as it must be to remember that trauma, he sees the value of sharing it with others who may be struggling. The rawness of this pairs well with the refined beauty of Amygdala. Thanks for taking the time to digest it.

I absolutely love your reaction vids. You manage to pick up details that others seem to miss. Don't worry about pausing, rewinding, playing parts over and over. It is pure joy to watch someone discover BTS as enthusiastically as I did. My recommendations are (you will have heard these live already) Interlude: Shadow Burn it feat Max Then listen to Persona Magic Shop Dis-ease Interlude: Set me free (Suga sings so beautifully. Also this is Suga's Part 1 to Jimin's Part 2.) Come Back Home (this is a cover of a song by Seo Taiji and Boys. Giving Cypress Hill Vibes.)

This song is so powerful because it really shows Yoongi's ability to turn all that hardship into healing and strength through music. He's inspired so many of us to do the same. He's a musical genius pure and simple! Please 🙏 think about giving some love to the BTS vocal line (Jin, V, Jimin and Jungkook). This LIVE version of House of Cards from their 2016 tour showcases their vocal talent so well! It has Eng lyrics too. 💜 House of Cards: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Za2ozLaFoZudido.html
