You mentioned the mics alot. I'm a music tech nerd and I look up a bunch of what their gear costs lol. They use completely custom sennheiser SKM 6000 wireless mics covered in about 4500 swarovski crystals made by a company in SK called Glowe. There's no price listed for their mics specifically but a standard Sennheiser SKM 6000 is about $2200 USD oof haha. Hope that helped! I love your content!

I remember one day Jin was sad bc a couple of crystals had popped off TTTT They also have custom bedazzled in ears, JK's have the army and bts logos on them for example

There was a lot of controversy behind this concert. The government asked them to do a free concert to promote Busan to do the World Expo in 2030. The planning behind it was a disaster, totally unorganized and the kicker was they couldn't/didn't want to pay so they got Big Hit to pay for it. The boys did the concert giving their all, with a smile on their faces. At the time the government was going back and fourth about military exemption for them. They never mentioned the World Expo once throughout the entire thing, said it would be the last time they perform Cypher Part 3 (You can't control my shit), and then announced the next day that they would all be enlisting. Badass!!💜

It was actually for 100,000 audience, plus big screens broadcasting around Busan, and 20+ million of us across the world watching direct live, which created tech problems. I was one of the lucky ones without much interruption. THEN, we had simultaneous theatre screenings across the world for three days early February 2023, nearly all screening were sold out

@@Itwithfun086 Yeah, I think I got to watch maybe 2-3 minute stretches 2-3 times during the entire concert - luckily Run, BTS was one of those parts! But it was insane, millions of ARMY incessantly commenting "EVERYBODY STOP COMMENTING!" and bringing everything to a screaching halt. But considering about 49 MILLION fans tried watching at the same time, it's not so strange... Seriously, I googled it and I believe it's a world record in live streaming.

@@G.Rudi.B The word "Run" obviously stands for running towards life/goal/success, etc. The reason why there is a change of lyrics is because when they say "Run Bulletproof" they're ONLY referencing BTS to run As you know "BTS stands for Bulletproof Boyscouts in English" So when they switched "Bulletproof" to "Beautiful" right in the ending BTS is now referring to the "ARMY'S" to run alongside them Meaning, BTS don't want to leave ARMY'S behind These days, most celebrity or artist don't really care much about their fans, they only care about the money. In concerts, even though those artist gets paid, they'd just do the bare minimum But in BTS, whether they get paid or not They'd always do 100% of their all in any performance Reason is, they love their fans & they don't want to disappoint them I forgot to mention, in that performance Not only is BTS not gaining anything, they're also losing a lot of money because they rented the whole stadium, and they are also paying more out of pocket to renovate the surrounding area just to make sure no ARMY'S would get hurt or get into an accident

Yes, RM is saying Run Beautiful at the end. Some of the lyric videos get it wrong but I love that touch! Gives a feeling that he's saying that about the team but also telling us to run too.💜

This track came straight on the heels of Mic Drop, which also has some heavy duty choreography. No break, no breather. How Yoongi did that rap without needing an oxygen tank will forever be a mystery to me.

You mentioned jimin's unique voice, I totally agree; when I first got into BTS jimin's voice was what attracted my attention. his voice really stands out, not to mention his ability to hit the most insane high notes

the "above the running man" line in RM's verse is a reference to a Korean idiom "Above the running man, there is a flying man" basically meaning that you can run all you like, but there will always be someone above you. They reference this idiom in multiple tracks (I know for sure it comes up in one of the Cyphers, 2 or 3 maybe? Can't recall off the top of my head lol)

I think this song basically tells their story. BTS stands for “bulletproof boy scouts” so the line “Run bulletproof” is what they knew they had to do to break through. Their own hard work got them to the top. Love your reactions!

Thank you for this reaction. Jin is the member that sings the high pitched “tell me what you wanna”. A little fact: he had been ill for a few days before this concert and he’d lost his voice. He kept himself quiet to rest his vocals. Until the day of the concert he wasn’t sure he’d be able to sing. He said that once they began the concert he found his voice again and he performed the entire show flawlessly. These guys leave everything on the stage. If you get the chance, I highly recommend you watch the entirety of Yet To Come Busan. This was their last concert together before the members prepared for military service. Jin, the oldest, was the first one to leave in December of last year. Jhope followed. Suga/ Yoongi announced his intent to enlist the day after his final D-Day concert, on August 7. Soon the rest will be enlisting. They hope to finish MS by 2025 and maybe (hopefully), there will be a world tour in 2026. I’m already missing them terribly 💜

This song dropped at like 2am East Coast time. It got me up and I was dancing all around the living room I couldn’t sit still. This song is 🔥 They didn’t give us a MV and preformed it for the first time at the Busan concert and all us ARMY lost our sht. Their dance practice is 🔥too.

We are never prepared for Yoongi I am here to humbly request you react to Idol and also the MMA stage from 2018. They did change the instrumentation for that stage, but those changes with the performance elevates it to a whole different level, and Idol is UP THERE already.

BTS is insane! The live performances is ALWAYS better than the recording!

Also this song doesn't have a MV because it's a B-Side track from the Proof album. RM said last June when the album dropped that they all knew we would want choreography for it but they just weren't in a place where they could give that yet. So getting to see Run BTS performed at the Busan concert was the biggest surprise and gift from BTS.

When you said you have to be careful driving while listening to this...I felt that!! I find myself pressing that gas way too hard and bouncing while listening to this. Its rated I for interstate driving only round here!😂

God i remember tuning in to the infamous official live stream (that died after like 20 minutes or so??) and seeing them perform this for the first time ever, I think I ascended that day, I never recovered damn

there's a saying in korean "above the running man is a flying man" that means there's always someone who's better than you. in run bts they say "above the running man is a flying man, and above them runs Bangtan (BTS)"

RUN BTS got me in repeat mode for abt 2 months when it came out! And now it is the sound of my alarm clock.

They did this choreo right after micdrop, no breaks. you're not kidding when you said they sound better live because they eat their cds is2g, saw them in concert and they keep this energy for 3 hours. They said that they wanted the choreo to keep them feeling like they were running the whole time.

You hit the nail on the head with your motorcycle mention. Some of the choreography emulates the kick of a motorcycle and riding a motorcycle. I love the Busan performance but you should definitely check out the dance practice. It hits hard!

Love your reaction, particularly when you reached Yoongi's verse. BTS is one of those groups that know how to adapt to live performances, I love it when they have a live band playing the song, and it adds a lot of power to the performance. This concert was sponsored by the city (BigHit paid out of pocket for extra security measures and other stuff) but this is not their biggest venue or the most impressive because the budget was limited. So, you can imagine how amazing they are when it's them paying for everything and having control for every single detail (even the online concert stages were massively impressive, e.g. suwoozoo) Hope you react to the dance practice, it is amazing 👌

Throughout the song it’s bulletproof but the last paragraph which RM sang, it’s beautiful. 2) Now coming to the context of this song. This is a song from their album ‘Proof’, which is the last album of their chapter 1. So, this song is a shoutout and an encouragement to all BTS members as they embark on their journey to chapter 2, which is the solo works. 3) The performance that they did was for a free concert as this was supposedly a concert which was organised by the South Korean government. However, the government messed it up and was not paying attention to the facilities, the government was even called out by the citizens. So at the end, it’s the BTS that secretly took burden of the costs despite knowing that they won’t earn anything from it. They did it solely bcz they love their fans so much. And after a day or two of this concert, they announced their military enlistment. 4) They could’ve easily made this song as the main song of their album but they decided to make this a b-side track without any music video because they had a bigger message to convey with their main song ‘Yet to Come’. Yet to come song is all about their promise that they’ll come back. So, that song holds a very special place in our hearts. This again proves that don’t care about the money or market trends. They do what they want. 5) Coming to the budget of their stage etc., they are able to spend so much on these things because they’ve never resorted to payola and they do things on their own. They want success but only the organic success which depends on the fans. They would never resort to shortcuts for success. Talking about budget, you must see how much money they spent for their fans for celebrating their 10th anniversary (especially the fireworks show). 6) It is also important to know that they went on hiatus in the peak of their careers. This again shows that they’re here for making a permanent impression not the temporary ones.

I watched this performance on cinema and it was AWESOME!!! Love every second one of it. BTS is one top tier band! Super creative, talented and with full of energy!
