This was my wife’s favorite song. She said it was our song and it was. The night I proposed to her, at an Italian restaurant at dinner with friends. I had the manager play this for me over their audio system. In the middle of the song, the lights dimmed in the restaurant except the ones around our table. I stood up and got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She said yes and all the patrons applauded us. We had a beautiful 16 years of love and life together. I’m so in love with her still today even. Sadly I lost her to a drunk driver accident in 2003 after 16 years of marriage. Still today when I hear this song it is a reminder of our love and the torture that she was taken from me so brutally. I love you, Paula. Now and forever.

Me personally without thinking, in the 80's colours of nature were more natural and pure, weather was weather, we actually had proper seasons, food and drinks were much better - everything tasted natural and non metalic and non plastic, you were sure that you're eating a real food and not some shit mixed in some shitty lab with some shit chemicals. Music was fantastic, and pure, some of my most beautiful memories are in 1980's. Nowadays kids are empty, egoistic, lame and fake...we had to wait for another music clip for hours to show, or to watch our favorite tv show every week, we were eager to find something, to develop, to create, to understand - really understant - nowadays everything is instant, overhyped and shitty, and everything is forgotten the very first minute it's over, no matter how overhyped junk it is.

This is why older people have a hard time with newer songs. I'm not saying newer songs are bad but older songs were more melodic and it's hard to convert ears finely tuned towards melodic composition to a different kind of music with less flow and rhythm.

So many try to remake this song!! Don't!! No one but Bryan sings this !! ❤

My absolute favourite love song. There are many songs that I love but this will always remain my favourite.

I never knew this Man in my childhood, but I’m enjoying his music like I have watched him for couple of decades. A sala era sempre muito cheia, pois era antes do horário liberado para visitas do hospital, então geralmente não era possível ouvir nada do som ambiente.
