Maybe I´m really old by now.... but all that Bryan and his band needed was to stand there, singing the song and play their instruments - and it was phantastic! They needed no half-naked dancers, no fireworks no big show around them. Just THAT voice and those talented musicians. For me that is what real good music and talent is all about!

+Audii Lovely That say's A LOT about you. Your ahead of many other's your age in appreciating music from BEFORE you were even a twinkle in your parent's eyes. You've learned what REAL Rock N Roll truly is and when you compare this to the songs your age group listen's to now, it's sad the talent isn't out there. Rap and Hip Hop is far from anyone having talent. Stick with the older stuff and you will continue to find great Artist's to listen to. Richard Marx is good too and was popular around this same time. But, Bryan Adam's is still doing Concert's and putting new song's out there. We've lost a lot of GREAT Band's from the 60's, 70's & 80's and many good in the 90's too. Keep Exploring and ENJOY!! You've got a good ear and some smarts listening to this era of music. It's nice to know. :) Those that replied that are your age too, have good taste in Music. I was 22 at the time. The first love of my life left me,no reason given. 3 days later my mom is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Was a lonely painful time and a friend of mine gave me her Walkman with this cassette in it. This song and many others have helped me through some really hard times and good times throughout life. Been with my wife 28 years now with 2 beautiful boys so I guess everything happens for a reason.

Who’s listening in may 2024?

I used to listen this song while learning English with some friends. and this was so help full for me to learn English easily.

His music takes me back to the eighties a time when the world was a good place to live in and I was a sophomore in highschool and was with my first true love...wow why can't it be like those times again where have all the years gone to? It's funny how a song can make you close your eyes and travel back in time...when love was pure and real.

I'm sorry for your loss. I never married but I seen the pain of the loss when my mom lost dad. His death took a toll on her because he was her love for more than 50 years. Bryan's voice is perfect for this song.😢

I remember the first time I heard this song I was blown away at the raw emotion and genius of this song and artist, and just having listened to it, I still feel the exact same way!
