Biggest problem with that bronco is the driver

Great video showing how all the money in the world thrown at a rig doesn't make you a good driver. But a good driver can do wonders with a barely built XJ. Loved watching the FunJ crew making the high dollar rigs look silly.

That body lift on that Bronco is ridiculous please take it off.

Basically stock xj destroys everything is what this video was about.

The only thing this taught me was.. XJs can basically get up anything pending the driver lol

he was supposed to remove that jeep eater sticker the first time he got hosed by a xj at sand hollow. at this stage it's just embarrassing for him.

$150K Bronco, gets out wheeled by an XJ held together with bailing wire and duct tape.

Those Metal Cloak fenders are awesome! I had them on my Rubicon and they always took a beating.

I love both rigs, but the constant bashing of the bronco, creates more a divide instead of just enjoying the Offroad lifestyle. Definitely will never watch this channel again. Good content , but too partial.

I think if a modern Bronco is truly going to be a rock crawler it really does need a solid axle. The torsional load on that front suspension flexing everything forward and back on the IFS was big cringe. Also I think the tie rod stiffener thingys look tacky as hell, don't like anything about it.

Rory drives a stick . So that's not the problem. I drove only stick and the third pedal can get you out of trouble.

Love the channel! I own a 6th gen Bronco and it PAINS me to see Tyler go up against Jeeps. Jeeps are built to rock crawl...Broncos are NOT. I'm glad you can be "gentle" with Bronc Buster and its short comings. Tyler should invest in the Freedom Winch Line! Great vid guys, keep em coming.

Moral of the story-moderately build an XJ and develop your driving skills. You will be unstoppable. Throw a ton of money at a Bronco and not develop your driving skills? You will be embarassed.

That broncobuster enjoys breaking its beefed up steering components. So long as the Jeep has comprable upgrades, it should fair better with proper driver. SFA for rocks, IFS for dessert running.

Atlas hell, the bronco needs an automatic. He says manuals are more fun, and he's right if he means breaks more, and goes less places. Josh is pretty easy on the Scorpion. Just don't let George drive it. XJs are magical off road. George proves that the best gear without good driving is useless. I blame Rory too. George hasn't learned throttle control. Ignorant damage to the XJ for no reason. Mount the flags on the front of the rock sliders and trim the bumper.

the body work on that bronco and what i heard was called a paint job, was definitely worth not paying someone with eyesight an a speck of talent to do it.

I'd love to know how much has been spent on the Bronco compared to the Jeeps. You can make any vehicle good if you throw enough money at it, and It looks like there's been a LOT of money thrown at that Bronco.

I give the dude credit for developing stuff for the broncos. Very cool rig. A light XJ with lockers is just very hard to beat

My money is on the Jeep. That bronc buster has bad luck.

Curious. Any reason the extra modified bronco was lifting a tire on the 1st obstacle and the white cherokee didn't lift a tire?

Too much fun and George did as expect. As far as not staying on the trails, yes off trail is more fun but you should watch one of Trail Mater's rants and lectures about trails being closed by the state because people aren't staying on trail and it's causing damage.

I had at least 5 strokes watching these rigs climb up that chute.

Portals definitely are a decent choice on a IFS suspension. It keeps the half shafts at a decent angle and adds gear reduction and lift.

full walk around Fun J is in last years video of Pritchett Canyon with Bleeping Jeep. The only changes from then to now is front bumper & sliders replacements.

Dad's pickup didn't get crashed! Buggies are the vector to cost effective rock crawling. You can put one-tons and an LS on a Radio Flyer

Im a solid axle guy and ive got an 87 YJ with K30 axles, but even though I dont like broncos, I choose to believe he's just trying to the first to capitalize on a new market. I dont know if he even likes them or not, i doubt you get that level of r&d knowledge without being able to know for budget proformance a solid axle will be better, but people are buying the bronco anyway and he might as well make some money off it

Bronco fails on looks alone IMO

I started a channel this winter, but have only posted a couple videos. Hat's off to Matt, Tyler, & the rest of the KZreadrs out there. It takes a lot of time & patience to put these videos out. Unfortunately, time is a rare commodity for me :)
