Alright, I might have gone a bit too far with the handle to call it a restoration, as always! But I had a lof of fun! And it's always a nice challenge to work with some limitation like pin holes and experiment with new materials composition. I'm loving this thin cork layer, actually thinking about making an handle only with that! And yes, I have left the spine rough, I know many of you don't like that but I do, I want to keep something that resembles the original texture and I definetly wanated to leave the makers mark "P". Knife is 280mm overall with 150mm blade, 54mm wide and just over 2mm thick. Dark wood is Wengè and light wood is teak.

I paid for KZread to get rid of ads. Is this what I get for my money???
I think he makes every project a contest to see how many clamps he can get on a piece at once

I think when he was making the laminated handles he used all of them. Every one he had.
At this point, I'm mostly here for the handles. :-) They get more complex and interesting as time goes on.

i am making a knife handle for a rat tail tang, as i got the knife blade for christmas a few years back but i am not sure how to lol.
It’s so good to see old knives being restored. I’m a lover of chef’s and kitchen knives and this gives me great happiness knowing that there are those out there who keep great traditions alive. Beautiful work every time...

As well as grid cutters apple peepers bread slicers, all sort of manually operated goodies getting restored these days.
That ad was extremely well placed and awesome
Nice restoration. I just restored a 70 year old British Navy knife.
I don't know why but this is my fav knife you've ever done. The handle looks incredible.

I agree - that handle is beautiful!
You could carve your brand into the metal and the handle! Its immaculate, regardless
You are truly professional. I did not see the original knife made by the Company but you made this knife better than the original.
This is probably my favorite restoration video so far. Not too much reshaping. Still has a decent amount of the character the rust imparted. Very nice indeed. I'll recommend this to anyone who wants to restore a rusty knife.
It’s fun watching someone show off all their fancy tools
His drilling scenes remind me of a hummingbird.
Awesome restoration on this Italian Slicer Knife !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, such detailed work on the handle! Great work!
I love this. Instead of reprofiling the blade to give it back its point, you preserved as much of the blade length as you could while cleaning it up and giving it back, clean sharp definitions. So simple and straightforward and yet filled with TLC. Thumbs up!
no hair is harmed in a bbp knifemaking video... impressing!
Why did this make me hungry? Was it just that satisfying??
Nice job! Probably looks better now than it did when it was new. You are a true craftsman.
aye, finally one where you don't circumcise its tang to fit it in a handle. instead, squeezing against the stiff tang. lol
I’m mostly here because this channel always likes creating quality and plus he puts the instructions and explanations at the description
This is a handle making channel, the knife restoration is just a bonus
I love his videos cause it’s less restoration and more like 50/50 restoration and upgrade
That bill envelope chopping was by far the most satisfactory paper cutting yet. Good knife save as well. Rspct.

The work you do with the handles it's unbelievable. Such a fine work.
Another work of art.
Отличный кухонный нож. Super!!!!!
Well done mate looks like new.
A man can never ever have too many clamps! Talk about from trash to treasure, that came out gorgeous. If I saw that chopper in a store I'd think wow, that's pretty cool, but watching how much time and effort you put into restoring it, then making those beautiful scales means so much more, you put love into that thing! Great work as usual, take care.
Great work as usual.. big fan.
Once again, quite a nice video ! I like the quick "before / after" at the end.
Unbelievable. It's a beautiful knife.
