No-one taught me how to iron clothes when I was on my basic training. They assumed we knew. I burnt a hole in my shirt as a result. I still can't iron. I can however strip a machine gun blind fold so it is nice to know I learnt something when I was there.

With that attitude I don't even think you would pass selection let alone get into phase one training.

Could you do phase one just to get a taste of military life then join the commandos

lol No you either do army and do phase 1 or do the commandos course. Of course there is the option to serve in the army and then do the commandos course to become a infantry commando. But what do you mean get a taste of military life in phase one you do all that crap in the commandos course it's just more intense. It just blows my mind why the fuck would you go through all that trouble just to do it all over again just worse for a longer period of time.

If you have a physical at the hospital, would you need to do another physical there?
