This dudes ability to learn absolutely nothing in his 50 years of cooking is uncanny!!

Because he never learned the basics. I don't remember ever seeing him use stove and regular pot. Never made stock, broth, roux, soffrito... Never used wine, butter, tomato paste and other basic ingredients. It's always premade spice blends and cans.

Why does the "brisket" look like 1990s erasers?
deglazing the pan was the only real cooking this recipe calls for and you cut it out
Most of Jack’s “recipes” is basically dumping everything in a crockpot and calling it a day. He refuses to learn.

@@PalehorseThirteenlol right. The brisket chunks are just bigger than the ground beef or turkey most people are used to in chili. This actually looks like it could be pretty good.
@Coolremac

@@emilegriffith1473I agree. Beef stew to me consists of chunks of beef mixed with beef broth, seasonings, and vegetables. Traditional chili consists of ground beef, chili powder, cumin, additional seasonings, beef broth, tomato paste and tomato sauce. I've made some hot dog chili on my KZread channel.
Why does he want to look like an overgrown, old version of Bart Simpson?!
the brisket is not only not rotten this time, it doesn't even exist. Maybe Jack is learning.

Great video Jack!
I hope your 2024 will be a good one😊😊
What an alcoholic pouring beers in there ffs
I've never had chili with chocolate in it before. Sounds interesting. I use Wright's brand bacon too.
Looks good…my first chili recipe was Alton Brown’s from good eats. He used beer and tortilla chips. I’ve made chili in the instant pot, crockpot and stovetop, I’ll have to try oven next. Stovetop has best outcome overall imo
