@@rileyschmedeman652 sometimes easier doesn't mean dumbed down. Sometimes minimalist or simple stuff can work and don't know, help the mood of the song, blend better with the vocals... As a drummer, obviously BMTH drums have also simplified a lot, but I think that, as long as it helps the music... In the end, a lot of bands are known for their more simple and catchy songs rather than for the more complex ones

Javi Hernandez I think you were misunderstood. I completely agree with you, i just meant it in the sense that they were easier. As some one who is a guitarist enjoys Amo and That’s The Spirit over their past works, i find it disappointing that the songwriting and ambition was there, but not the exciting and throttling riffs that made their earlier work tolerable

So nobody is going to talk about how the bass sounds? Damn, that was crazy!

‘Chelsea smile’ was one of my favorite since I first discovered the band, ‘diamonds aren’t forever’ too I personally really enjoy the newer stuff but this made me realize I need to listen to more of the older stuff

I'll always love Lee's riffs. No matter how simply or complex he delivers

Lee Malia's playstyle has always been really distinct.

I've enjoyed pretty much every faze of BMTH. The guitar riffs got noticeably simpler as time has gone on, but I find their music more enjoyable in a different way.

I just realized that "It never ends" is like Metalcore - Greenday lol

Can't we all just be happy that BMTH is the only, if not, one of the bands who could give us both the heavy and the pop punk and synth and all that could possibly be there?

I only discovered BMTH about 4 months ago, but hearing all their riffs is probably the best thing I’ve ever heard! Keep up the good work man!!

When you lay these riffs out back to back it's real nice to see the changes. Sure, some of the later stuff isn't as complex as the early stuff, but it has a different groove to it which in these examples is pretty sick IMO.

What about The Sadness will Never End guitar solo, that solo is tasty :(

Mantra isn't a very flashy riff by any means but it's so damn catchy. I hum it all the time
