Kinda different for people. Some scream best (usually better aproach) when they're calm and relaxed in their body. Some go all out with emotion to scream and do amazing. But technique is key, and Oli sounds good but wrecked his voice almost.

HIHisLife To be honest I loved the energy and violence of this album. Definitely one of my favourites albums to headbang to, especially this song. But the reason why I still prefer Sempiternal over it is really cause of the new method of screaming Oli uses. The live performances are waaaaaay better now than they were before, they really improved on that. Surely for some (most people actually), the new screams are not as powerful as the one on this album but just look at this performance, he looks out of breath even though he's not running/jumping and unless you know the lyrics you can't really tell what he is saying. Check out the new live performances, his screams got maybe less powerful but more "clear" if I can say so.

Everyone that wants the old BMTH back. They don't want to do this kind of music anymore, they grew up, and that's fine, bc that's life. They're much older now, and they're doing what they want to do. It's just to accept what they are now, they are in fact amazing. No, it's not so heavy anymore, but the lyrics are perfect, the songs have meaning and that is for me the most important thing. And Oli seems so happy now, with Hannah and everything. That's more important than anything else. Why complain about it?

"Crucify Me" (feat. Lights) Crucify me, and nail my hands to a wooden cross There is nothing above, there is nothing below Heaven and Hell lives in all of us And I've been cast astray I am an ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me Lost in the abyss, drowned in the deep No set of lungs could salvage me Only a shipwreck, only a ghost Merely a graveyard of your former self We just watched the waves crash over I've been cast astray There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret No one needs to know There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret No one needs to know I am an ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me Lost in the abyss, drowned in the deep No set of lungs could salvage me Save yourself, save your breath The tides too strong, you'll catch your death So breathe for me, just breathe There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret There is a hell, believe me I've seen There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret There is a hell believe me I've seen Oh If we make it through the night, if we make it out alive Lord have mercy and pray for the dead And you say that you can save me Don't hope to ever find me And I fear I'm too far gone Pray for the dead Oh If we make it through the night, if I make it out alive Lord have mercy and pray for the dead And you said that you can save me Don't hope to ever find me And I fear I'm too far gone Pray for the dead Pray for the dead Pray for the dead Pray for the dead Yeah Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your full undivided attention? There's something you all really need to know There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret There is a Hell, believe me I've seen I-I-I There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret There is a Hell believe me I've seen If we make it through the night, if we make it out alive You said that you can save me Don't hope to ever find me And I fear I'm too far gone Pray for the dead If we make it through the night, if we make it out alive We'll have mercy and pray for the dead You say that you can save me Don't hope to ever find me I fear I'm too far gone Pray for the dead. 2010 was a good year for bmth really. Oli looks hot as sh*t , the sound was not soft and not too hard, olis voice wasn't too shitty to sing/scream live ,jona makes good work at the guitar and they were popular but not too much like now. And now 4-5 years later they sound like all the others and he sounds not the same because of his f*cked up voice. Drown sounds like Linkin Park with a little bit of Asking Alexandria and Enter shikari.. What happened ? :(

FlameZ I have the same opinion yet haha. Throne really sounds more like Linkin Park seriously. And yeah there is a hell was a good mix for me too. There was everything singalongs and shouts/screams it was good. I wish they didn't switched the genre or whatever they changed. Yeah they grow up and there music too. It's okay that new fans don't like the old stuff. But it's okay too that old fans like me don't like it at all.. it's my opinion and that's totally fine right ? :)

Crucify me And nail my hands to a wooden cross There is nothing above, there is nothing below Heaven and Hell lives in all of us And I'll be cast astray I am an ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me Lost in the abyss, drowned in the deep No set of rules could salvage me Only a shipwreck, only a ghost Merely a graveyard of your former self We just watch the waves crash over We all get cast astray There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret No one needs to know There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret No one needs to know I am an ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me Lost in the abyss, drowned in the deep No set of rules could salvage me Save yourself, save your breath The tide's too strong, you'll catch your death So breathe for me, just breathe There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it Oh, if we make it through the night If we make it out alive Lord have mercy and pray for the dead Are you saying that you can save me? Don't hope to ever find me And I fear I'm too far gone Pray for the dead Oh, if we make it through the night If we make it out alive Lord have mercy and pray for the dead Are you saying that you can save me? Don't hope to ever find me And I fear I'm too far gone Pray for the dead Pray for the dead Pray for the dead Pray for the dead Yeah Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your full undivided attention? There's something you all really need to know There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it There is a Heaven, let's keep it a secret There is a Hell, believe me I've seen it Oh, if we make it through the night If we make it out alive Are you saying that you can save me? Don't hope to ever find me And I fear I'm too far gone Pray for the dead Oh, if we make it through the night If we make it out alive Lord have mercy and pray for the dead Are you saying that you can save me? Don't hope to ever find me And I fear I'm too far gone Pray for the dead I am the ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me I am the ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me I am the ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me I am the ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me I am the ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me I am the ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me I am the ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me I am the ocean, I am the sea There is a world inside of me

Love this band more than life itself..❤
Everyone that wants the old BMTH back. They don't want to do this kind of music anymore, they grew up, and that's fine, bc that's life. They're much older now, and they're doing what they want to do. It's just to accept what they are now, they are in fact amazing. No, it's not so heavy anymore, but the lyrics are perfect, the songs have meaning and that is for me the most important thing. And Oli seems so happy now, with Hannah and everything. That's more important than anything else. Why complain about it?

I miss this version of BMTH so damn much 😢 no matter how hard I’ve tried for the last 8+ years, I just can’t vibe with the pop/radio rock stuff that they’ve been churning out since That’s the Spirit
This song is what really got me into them. So fkn brutal, can feel the passion

I’d do anything to go back. I was actually alive, instead of just living…and there was actually still hope for the future. Now we live in a post apocalypse…counting our days. At least we have our memories.
Damn 10 years ago! I remember when I first saw this video. Amazing how much they all have improved and how long they have gone. You can tell very well by now how deep the lyrics are for Oliver. A really dark phase. So glad they are doing fine now :)

Lisa Sch But Sempiternal was to really good i think it was different but it was good it had some soft screams and it had some singing into it and it wasnt so soft. But for me There is a hell is the best album they´ve made.
