Brick House Recovery - New Clients

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

One of the things I love about Brick House the most is that people are there because they want to be there, right? They want something different. They're not told that they have to be a treatment they're there because they want something different.
You want them to know that they're loved and that they're not alone, and they're not having to do this by themselves anymore. Like I understand that they're in a very, very dark place and it can be one of the most terrible places they've ever been in their lives. But I want them to know that they don't have to live there anymore. You don't.
I would encourage people to just trust the team, trust the people who are, who are investing in them. You know, look for people who are willing to invest in them in positive ways and to show them love and grace, and look for people who have what they want out of life. People who have compassion, people who have patience, people who have sobriety and listen to those people, let those people guide you.
Come be a part of us and be the best you can be. Let us help you with guiding you and also helping to foster that growth and development, giving you a safe place Where it can occur, make this your priority. Like it's a life or death decision because it is. And then just come in with all the openness, honesty, and willingness that you have.
Don't get wrapped up in what hasn't happened yet. Don't get too caught, been next week. Next month, next year, none of that stuff is in our control or don't get caught up in what you can't change. What happened yesterday last week or whatever the situation was in the past, God is only in the present. If you go in the future or you go in the past, you have to go low.
The thing that I would encourage the most to set marginal goals, something tangible, something that you can grasp that you can hold onto. Let's just get a month. Let's just come back for tomorrow's group. Let's just get through one step at a time. And then we'll reassess
Recovery is It's a process. So celebrate the small victories, give yourself some grace and take it one day at a time.
