Looks great on the eye there David and sounds like it tastes good too. Using the verdant yeast as a substitute won’t do any harm there I’d imagine.

I think it’s a great beer, a really good example of the style. I like beers with that strength and mouthfeel. The flavours all come through with that dry grapefruit pith bitterness on the aftertaste. My only concern is the wife loves it so there will be less for me😩

Cheers my mate. My wife and I still feeling poorly with Covid but the symptoms are not getting any worse. It’s like a dose of mild flu at the moment. Think some of my smell and taste are coming back though. My mother has it too now so is isolated in her bungalow with no visitors to comfort her but she remaining as positive as possible. Cheers to you all in NZ I must visit one day for sure👍👍👍

First time I have used this yeast and it won’t be the last . You should btew this beer if you get chance just watch the video like I did. and you will get the recipe and method . Link to the video is in the description. Cheers mate👍

@@Dts1953 thanks! Sorry, just seen you’ve replied to this, I don’t get notifications on it for some reason. It’ll certainly go in the list 😀 my next beer will be a tweak on a verdant style, similar to the recipe for Only Sharks Need Water. Love that beer! I’d like to re-do Lightbulb using this yeast this time too, and maybe using one different hop like Mosaic in there just to switch things up a little

I am getting better now , the Covid knocked me up and I had to organise my fathers funeral but I will get back to YOU TUBE very soon. I hope you guys doing ok?
