I’ve always liked the Morgan as well, beautiful machines. Seeing you little road trip made me fancy a proper trip out in my MX5. Although I’ve taken it to work etc. I haven’t been for a proper ‘drive’ for far too long.

Love the MX5 and my wife had one in the past. My brother has a 12 year old one and it’s in superb condition. The Morgan however is just totally different and the one for me. I will be brewing a South African IPA on Friday with Cheshire Homebrew who is coming over to mine. It showcases the South African hops I brought back from SA a few weeks ago.

3:34 Always easier getting in than getting out. I can't imagine an automatic transmission. I recently sold my Mazda Miata, still miss it. Still got 29 mpg with 159K on the odometer. Great to fill a lifelong dream.

Yes, Peter, I have an MK 1 mx5, lives in a garage and gets very little use. My wife thinks she would feel to vunerable in it. The Morgan would be like owning an art work, you could just look at it.

I'm speechless. The Morgan seems to be a car that fits like a glove, if that makes sense. You've made me a fan if this automobile as well as the company itself. Great video. I'm very happy you got to live out a dream. Cheers mate!🍺🍻

Great update as usual and it is one of the cars that I've dreamed of. I have an MGB in the garage that I really need to fix up and get on the road as that was super to drive and exciting (only 1800 but rear wheel drive so you really do need to know how to drive 😉🤣). I really did want an E type Jag or a Morgan but both were way beyond my price tag and both still are at the moment ☹. I really need to put some effort into getting the 'B' back on the road🙄. Fantastic to see that you have fulfilled your dream and pay me a visit so I can drool all over it 🤣. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.

Get the MGB on the road Schnuz. It’s a car I always wanted in the 1970s but couldn’t afford one. I did have a Triumph Spitfire which I loved but it was only a 1300 engine and didn’t compare to a Morgan. I still loved it though❤️

@@Dts1953 By the time I got it was already a classic, '72 plate and I bought it as a fixer upper in '89 and had some fun years in it. The clutch went in '94 so I took it off the road as 4* petrol was being phased out and I couldn't afford to replace the clutch and have the head machined for hardened valve seats (it was going to cost about £1000 to have the head machined back then, it now costs about £150, supply and demand 🙄🤣). Family pressure took over all of the spare finances and now I'm a little old and clattery and hours of hard mechanical labour are losing their appeal. I think I lost focus when I lost all of the photo's and video clips of how I stripped the original car down when the computer hard drive went tits up 😥. There are a couple of hard jobs left to do before I can begin the slow rebuild process but it's getting the motivation and time to do it. It would be quicker and easier to pay some one to do it, but that feels like cheating 🤣. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
