Bobby spends over a half hour going into detail on most of the plumbing and accessory connection options you have to choose from. If this video doesn't help you figure out the best parts for your brewery, nothing will. The pros and cons are discussed including utility, scalability, cost and value of each choice.

Listen, I don't blame you if you fall asleep watching or listening to me drone on for what seems like a lifetime. Hell, I feel asleep about 14 times trying to edit this footage down from 2 hours to 33 minutes and this is my career! -Bobby

Merci beaucoup pour cette démonstration très bien faite. Les arguments positifs et négatifs sont bien définis. Cela m'a beaucoup aidé. Thanks a lot for all the detailed explanattion. Thevp pro and con have been seen. You really help me.
Thanks for the very honest analysis of these fittings. The fact that you are this honest about all of their strengths and weaknesses has guaranteed me as a customer. I really appreciate all of your videos.
Absolutely amazing summary, I watched this and went from knowing nothing to having a fair idea of what's going on with these systems. Thanks very much for posting this video👍
OMG! Amazingly clear, concise, and still thorough presentation! Thank you!
Excellent presentation, even being mostly stuff I figured out already; the side by side comparison and actual demonstration of each is priceless. Sometimes there is just no substitute for show and tell.
I love how you explain things! So calm and to the point :-) Thanks
I've been using your cams and chugger pump for about 3 years and it all still works great. Camlock system is definitely a good choice.
Great breakdown of the various connection types, thanks for the straight forward explanations.
Bobby, your videos are GREAT and extremely helpful. Thank you for your knowledge and advice. Cheers!
Thanks for the detailed video, I'm following your video channel for the last two years, and I learned so many things about brewing gear.
Great tutorial one of your best, it clarified why to use each different type of connectors. The cost benefit information is excellent. Thanks Bobby
I´m impressed, really great review. When it comes to brewing, cleaning and sanitizing is always an issue. Ball QD are easy to handle, but their risk to cause contamination is higher than using Cam-Lock. Thats why you will see them mostly on pneumatic applications rather than liquid.
Excellent presentation. Thank you. It was so helpful to see the different connections at the same time.
Good explanation and demo of the various connection types and their application.
This was extremely helpful. Thank you for taking the time to do this. You turned me from ball lock QDs to camlock.
Thanks very informative. I just picked up a couple of one piece bulk heads from your company. Great service looking to get inti the cam lock system soon.
I'm not usually a person to bother commenting on videos, but I just wanted to leave you a big thank you! Precisely the information I need at the moment. Planning my first system, had already decided on camlock, but now I have a few more reasons to keep my decision firm :)
This was very helpful. Thank you!
You have dropped so much knowledge in a "down to earth" slang, that I'm impressed. Thus why I got all my hardware from you. Cheers Bobby!
Excellent video, thank you!
Very thorough. I’d love to see you build a basic “brew tools” 3 way valve set up using more cost effective solutions. Thanks
Very useful. Thank you so much!
really helpful video thanks
Great vid just what I was looking for as a noobie keggle maker. Cheers
Hi Bobby, I'm ready to pull the trigger and get a pump with the cam lock kit. The trouble is in choosing which pump. I can afford any of the ones you guys have, so it just comes down to which one is best. I brew in no great than 10 gal volumes, so which one should I get?
Thank you.
I bought a WH1803A controler for my brew pot. What weldless thermowell would I need to purchase from you for the temperature probe? I will be using two heating elements and one will be constant heat the other controled heat.
What was the garden hose type fitting called cool touch? I'm having issues finding them.
HOLA BUEINA EQUIPO PARA HASER CERVEZA 🍻
Super!
where shop from? i know most USA need one in UK
There is SOME truth to the sanitary fittings with threads not being sanitary, but no less than the camlock or blqd fittings with threads on them. If you use a pump with a plate chiller (or similar), all the fittings prior to cooling down don't need to be sanitary. I like the use of sanitary fittings because I can grab hoses to pump into my conical, etc., and I don't need to worry about which hose I grab as long as I have sanitized it. So, if you recirculate, except for the cost, the TC fittings are awesome because heat from recirc will sanitize the threaded fittings, and then the hoses can be used interchangeably. Otherwise you have to have search for a hose that has the right types of connections on both ends.

I don't think you got my point. What I meant was that "more sanitary" is not a reasonable justification for using triclamp connections. I never said that they were less sanitary than any other connections.
Great wrop

Wrap😁😂😎
Could you design a ball valve that uses cam locks rather than npt somehow
KABOOOOOM
I've converted to TC on my 3 vessel. And I made my own diptubes but I have tig welder and I really love my TC modular design. I can attach anything anywhere. Se videoes on my channel

I'm sure I was clear in the video that TC has its advantages but if only everyone had a TIG welder or knew someone who had one and knew how to use it. Standard TC is pricy but it only gets worse when you have to pay someone to make custom parts.

Yes, You were very clear. Where I live anyone can bring their stuff to a machine shop and get stuff welded. I like the modularity of tc fittings and that I can mount an heating element where I want it or an diptube if I like one the same fitting. And diptubes is not a custom piece anymore. Both you and aliexpress carry many different tc stuff. Anyway this was just my 2 cents. Cheers
Wish I had watched this video earlier. TC is very fiddly and then they put a threaded ball valve on it...
My brew kettle/pot doesn't have any openings whatsoever. It's just a stainless steel pot. I want to use the camlock fittings (based on his recommendations). Unfortunately I don't know where to begin! Do I need a bulkhead if I plan on using a camlock fitting? Also, what about the thermometer? I don't have one for my brew kettle, nor does my pot have an opening for it. Can someone please help me???
