Brenda said in the episode before this, is her dad is more tough on me, then on Brandon. I think the reason for that is that when Brandon messes up, he owns up to it, never plays the emotional game of excuses like Brenda does.

The fact that Jackie Taylor gave Kelly so much more leeway than Cindy and Jim ever gave Brenda is almost like an insult to Cindy's frustration. And the worst part is Cindy and (especially) Jim had so much affection for Kelly even after she stole Dylan from Brenda and then moved on to their son.

Because Dylan was so bad for Brenda. Terrible influence. If he truly found out that she lied and didn't turn the car around and bring her home, Jim had every right to be angry with the both of them. My parents would have sent me straight to the nunnery.

Thanks God I'm longer a teenager and I can do whatever I want. My parents limited me so much.

Any parent that thinks their 17 year old is going to obey them when told not to see a guy they love and have been intimate with, is severely mistaken. It just created undo tension in the family. Expressing disappointment in their daughter's judgement and immaturity was all that needed to be said.

Oh man…. Teenagers used to be SO much more mature back in the day. Now they’re basically 2 year olds who can’t write a paragraph on anything to save their life.

Brandon warned Brenda not to play hardball against Jim, but she wouldn't listen. He's the good twin. SHE'S BAD

Brenda was a rebel for sure but she had freedom. The only issue was that almost all their friends did whatever they wanted because they also had almost no existing parents and of course she wanted the same. I was that kid that grow up with almost no supervision and I always wanted to have a family like Brenda. Unfortunately I feel that Dylan influenced Brenda not so good and that's why he move on to Kelly, because she was just like him.

I felt like Brenda not allowed to date her boyfriend, all through my teens. My parents didn't allow dating until I finished highschool, and just like Brenda I did it behind their backs. Served them right I wast marriedin my late thirtees:-)

....although I LOVE 'Angry Jim' (1:41), it's kinda heartbreaking to see Cindy feel used (2:14)..... Brenda is becoming an Adult, but... it's time to let your little Blossom GROW, Jim...(3:07) ...Because, DYLAN knows what's up.... (2:50)....

It wasn’t Dylan’s fault. It was Brenda’s.

Yes, Brenda and Dylan screwed up, but considering how Dylan was there for Brenda after she had that flashback scare with the robbery Jim probably should’ve said they should stay apart for the summer and if they had not started dating anyone else by then he would lay down his new ground rules

We should remember what it is like to be young. Yes the parents had a right to be upset. Then they should have just gotten over it. They should have told Brenda and Dylan to take a break for a couple of weeks. After that they should have sat down with them both and told them what rules they were expected to follow. Forbidding a teenager from seeing her boyfriend is only asking for trouble

I like Dillon, but he had a lot of nerve saying what he said to Brenda's dad. He would have got a good a-- kickin' if it were my dad, lol! And he had an attitude!

Jason could have played it off like he wasn't lstening. Lol. Shannen looked really pretty here.

Not completely. He covered for his sister before she got caught. Dylan was innocent though. Only think Dylan could have done differently was call Jim and tell him the moment he found out, but he's not going to throw the love of his life under the bus. This is the moment the show jumped the shark.

It was actually Brenda’s fault not Dylan’s because Dylan didn’t know that Brenda sneaked off to Baja and Dylan was just a bit upset with her and Jim was being a pain that she couldn’t see Dylan anymore. At least ground her for a week and he letted Brandon off with a warning, so unfair. At least ground Brandon for 4 days or something. So dumb💀

If you ask me these guys did alright compared to the shit i did growing up

great episode but started the spiral downhill of the show. This marks a dark turning point Brenda's characer was never the same and soon the rest of the cast, writers, and producers started to shit on her. Jenny Garth became the female lead only a few eposides later while Shannon was the real Grade A talent in the cast.

I think Jim was totally unreasonable. He should have told Brenda and Dylan they could not see each other for a couple of weeks. Then he should have just got over it.
