In a different world and timeline, Shannon stayed in the show, and Brenda and Dylan got their happy ending, of been married at the end of the series, that is how it was supposed to have finished, after all their struggles and hard work, they had the perfect chemistry.

When I was a kid and I was at a girls house and her father walked in on us making out I was like what’s the big deal we were just kissing. However now that I’m an adult in my late thirties I get it and I would be the same way if I walked in on my daughter kissing a boy and where it was headed and have gone if I hadn’t walked in when I did

Jim had every right to scold them. Although with Brenda, she's always rebellious against her parent's wishes.

I love Dylan but imagine walking into your house to find your 16 year old daughter in a heavy make out session with her ex on the couch! Wouldn't you be outraged?? Had he been a little later I'm sure they would've gone further. But I do agree he pretty much let Brandon do whatever he wanted when it came to relationships and that bothered me.

Brenda was a nice girl

I think he was living with them at one point in time or another. I think that is why Dylan was there. He mentioned something about their mom said it was a sandwich in there. So, apparently they know he was there. May be they shouldn't have allowed Dylan to live there at all if they was so concerned about them possibly hooking up. Brandon did have his ex over from Minnesota Cindy was concerned because she thought she heard them up moving around and possibly sneaking in the room with one another. She woke Jim up and he wasn't concerned about it at all. Brenda and Brandon was supposed to be the same age. So everyone have a point. Jim just disliked Dylan based on who Dylan's father was. He treated Dylan as if he was his father and that wasn't right.

Haha, very true. And although I think he overreacted a little, I feel like maybe he was more in shock than anything else. But I do feel like Brandon got away with a lot more in that area too…I could be wrong but it’s like the parents would walk in, see him making out, and then just go “oh, oops sorry!” and walk right back out. I know there was a scene with Cindy where that happened at least.

The parents are out, theyre necking on the couch. If the dad was that concerned that they were sleeping together, Dylan shouldnt have been staying at they house. The thing is, if kids want to sleep together, they will find a way somewhere, park, car , dark place, anywhere.

Actually the dad should have kicked him out sooner. Smh we as young teenage girls can be stupid sometimes for sure. Your parents really do be looking out for you some of them. And a teenage pregnancy wouldn't have been the business. But of course when a girl thinks she's in love and she just maybe you can't tell her anything. And I think thats also why older men go for young girls. A young girls mental is different she literally doesn't know anything and has to be taught everything. I think thats why they are so wild sometimes.
