I hardly studied in high school and got average grades but got great grades in my colleague entry tests and ended up with a 3,8 gpa from a top university. In my case it was due to panic attacks and a terrible home situation which it took me some time to overcome. Not all high school students who fail to perform well are lazy. This assumption can be unfair.
