Breaking OPEN geodes & ENHYDRO geode! (water inside)
Ойын-сауық
We are breaking out the hammer and chisel to crack open a bunch of geodes from Indiana and Illinois and we got SUPER lucky and cracked open an enhydro geode! We saved all the similar geodes so we can try to polish down the husk to make polished enhydro geode balls but we broke open many more that had amazying crystals and botryoidal formations inside! Big thanks to Tyler @GeodeCrackerCollector for gifting us these amazing geodes!

Watching random dude crack rocks open is strangely satisfying 😌

Yes 🙌🏻 and watching him cut rocks, hunt rocks, all the stuff involved with rocks is satisfying. It’s addicting and an obsession. I LOVE it 😍
I would love to study that water from the geode under a microscope!🧐❤
Love it! Always wonder just how old the "water" is inside them....into another world....

Hammer and chisel pretty much sums up my heavy lapidary tool kit! Swing away!!
The enhydro geode looked really cool
You need some Dugway geodes!!! They are so beautiful!
Geode with water in ... Wow 😲 I never knew that was possible. I wonder if the water has been tested for their content. Fantastic video as always, thank you so much for sharing with us 😊
That was awesome!! I had a cracking good time 🤓
Sad and sweet
Umm... 🤔 ALL of them!!! But the 1st was pretty cool and the 2nd 3rd lol 😁
Looooveee sou match
I feel like maybe next time when someone tells you that there may be enhydro geodes in your batch you should just cut them open instead of somewhat exploding them into many pieces lol.. because that enhydro geode had a LOT of water in it and would have made for a very nice specimen. My heart broke with you when it broke open all wet. Oh well, live and learn right? Hopefully you’ll have better luck with future specimens. 😊
The first one and the third to the last were my favorite. 😁❤️
What an extraordinary finding my friend, you are very professional in finding quality stones, the stones you find have good crystals, greetings from Indonesian Agate seekers.
If you ever head to Kentucky south of Louisville, we live by a creek that has some of the most beautiful geodes around. You never know what it will have in them. Would love to take you there. Not to mention the fossils you can find and other minerals. Lots of different color chert too.
First geode was my favorite. All of them were exciting! Really no way to know if there is water inside unlike enhydro clear quartz crystals or Herkimer diamonds! Went Herkimer diamond mining recently. Would recommend that experience to all rock lovers.
try a zip lock bag to kep the water inside in the bag, and all you have to do is take the geode out of the bag
yeah there’s something about just hitting away with a hammer and chisel. my niece and nephew love it! got a few on my hunts with Tyler though that definitely are going on the saw. good luck finding another enhydro!!
Hammer time woooot!!!!! That first orange one was pretty awesome

Dude that perfect roll! 🤣 sorry a couple were stinkers! Make sure you check them out with the uv light too 😎🔥 especially the ones from Illinois!
Rock on 🤘
Anyone else want to have the water in that geode analysed?
That first one was my favorite one! That cool botryoidal formation! It will probably clean up with iron out, but i think that one looks cool orange! And a few of the others that had the pockets inside, they will clean up in iron out as well but some of it, the brown mineral isnt iron staining. It is a secondary barite formation over the botryoidal chalcedony so the brown wont come off. Its too bad about the enhydro geode! They are so cool and they look really cool polished so you can see the water inside through the geode crust! But maybe some of the one you have left are enhydros! Those really hard to break ones that were solid are geodized fossils. I recognized them from the box of them that tyler sent me! They arent really very geodized though. They are often solid with crystals, but i think would be super cool to cut and polish so you can see the crystal habits as they formed together, and the outside, when held together, can see the fossilized crinoid calyx, or brachiopod, that it was at one time! Ive got several crinoid calyx in my lot of goodies that tyler sent, and once you get the idea of their shapes, you can see a lot are actually geodized fossils! which even when filled with crystalization, is pretty darn cool that they were once an sea animal that died and was thoroughly replaced with crystalization! Tyler has told us what meeting up with you has meant, as you were one of his biggest influences for his channel. And now, his channel has just taken off, as yours did for you, and i couldnt be happier for you both!
That was fun!
I have never done that. I should get cracking. Lol 😆
I know it is fun to play wack-a-mole, why did you not use your saw? Looks like fun.
I have a polished enhydro agate! It's my favorite rock in my collection.
All of them. i love each one . thanks a lot
Bom dia! Muito lindo os Geodos aqui encontro muitos...
Ha ha yep I’m always surprised. Sometimes you think they’re solid and BAM! You crack open a big nice pocket of crystals! I’ve haven’t found an enhydro yet… Freaking awesome dude 👍🏼
SOOOO COOOL 🤩 Thanks AD and GCC... loving it 😃
That first one one will clean up real nice in iron out!
Fun to watch! Very cool
The enhydro one
What type of hearing protection do you use, as well as eye, or others when cracking open geodes or any rocks?
Can these not be cut on the saw? Or would the hollow pocket cause issues/be unsafe? Thanks!

So fun! Let's goooooooo!!
Hi mijo....I got hit by chip from geode....😱😂😂😂😂....Can't wait for new videos 📹😊💗🙏💜
wonderful video. does and will Tyler ship any of his geodes? and if so, would you please share the address to him?
I have only one geode and I can't get that thing open for all the money in the world lol 😆. I should send it to you to cut with the saw if I can still find it. Great video!
So whats the deal with the wet one?... first time l've seen or heard of it! Need some schooling here!😆

It has water trapped inside it. Search "enhydro" agate :)
Do we have geodes in Minnesota? A quick Google search says yes but I can't find anything about where I would find them.
you should cut them open for cleaner look
Will you be using any iron out on these specimens?

You, Sir, are a good looking man. I love your love for this.
how can you determine there is an enhydro prior to opening a geode?

I know a lot of people break open the geodes with a hammer Why ? Carl Zatsick Farmington Michigan
Question??? Why to you all crack them open instead of cutting them on a saw? 🤷🏻♀️

@@AgateDad I don't know how else to explain it. Every single one of your other videos plays just fine. I watch them frequently. This one just keeps loading but never plays and when I disable my adblocker I get random commercials but the video still won't play.
