breakaway seat box conversion fitting
had my new seatbox conversion kit arrive this evening and got it fitted ready for the weekend
oddly found 2 of the bottom holes didnt seem to line up properly with where the template showed to drill so i ended up drilling 2 more holes so that it wasnt holding the frame under constant pressure where the holes were slightly out
off to bristol channel at the weekend to try it out, already feels so much more comfortable than my old seatbox

What kinda drill did u use? I think you.ve got an older box? There s a specific frame for each hox version. I think that.s the template problem explained. Cheers bud. Mine has just bn delivered today and i.m sh## at diy stuff!
lol i dont think you read the instructions correct ... you drill the first holes through the template then you put a bolt thru the back of the holes so its facing outward then you put the backplate on the bolt and drill the bottom holes . If you try using both holes on the template the bottom holes will be out of alignment !!
