My suggestion to not scratching or damaging the rim. 1 use wrap electrical tape on the end of the tire tool or use painters tape around the rim.

Next set you decide to do, get a cheap area rug or equal size piece of carpet to lay out to do fresh wheels, rolls up and stores taking up little space.

Mounting truck tires has an unexpected bonus of learning better balance. I usually go headlong on the ground when the bead pops in place.

Hey James trucks look good from the back porch. The trucks run steel inners and polished aluminum outer wheels, our tire guys use those rubber anti fatigue floor mats when the are mounting tires, the mats don’t slide across the floor. Just a suggestion to ya. Keep it on the up stroke
