Gr8 show boyz. Very vital 12s calm down re: Murph Dawg & Big Abe as UK Maths Profs report says they think it will take until 2nd contract at end of seasons 3 or 4 to see rookies best play. Like Brian said, Murph is more like Grady Garrett than AD99 or Chris Jones. As per Mike Sando, it can take OL/DL boys their whole rookie deal to learn their position. Abe's knee needs lots of prayer & good surgery with long gentle return & Abe's best all pro level play will occur after new contract in February 2025 Mike Bennett was a once in 3 decades (once in a generation) rare DT HoF Superstar. Reggie White AD99 type DT is rarest gem in all sports, rarer than top QB's like Aaron Rogers or top soccer defenders like England GOAT Bobby Moore etc. It's very good that Mike Mac has great depth at DL as Murph Dawg may not become a star until 2028. Murphy Dawg is a pick 16 not a pick 6. But good news is that the Profs love our rookie LB Knight. They think he will become an all-pro & they trust Macdonald, who is NFL's top mind on Defence following retirements of Belichick & Carroll. Profs love Knights unique length metrics. TK uses length to best of his ability. It helps TK keep the blockers from reaching his body. 2nd they love his fast sideline-to-sideline plays (a weapon 12s have not had since Earl T3). Pundits underestimated his speed & high NFL IQ, but Mac did not. Prof's think the other 7 rookies cud be either good starters or nice back-ups, but u only need to find one all pro to get up to the 3 overall team all-pros mark to win a SB. We have Spoon & DK as true blue chip all-pro's. Woollen & K9 & Geno & Abe & Knight are 5 future all-pro's. 5 all-pro's wins multiple SB's & we cud have 7 if they pray well & stay healthy & avoid Malik McDowell & Jeremy Stevens type bad luck bad karma drama.

Brian, I know you love Geno and he definitely has his moments. You referenced the Dallas game last year and indeed he was very good in that game. BUT, when it mattered the most he did not come through and lead the team to a win that night despite having iirc 2 opportunities to do so. I believe that there are times when a QB must lift the team, take the game over and pretty much carry them to a win. I don't believe Geno has that in him and I believe the team needs to find a QB that not only has talent but has that special something to get Seattle to another Super Bowl. I sincerely hope Geno proves me wrong.

Appreciate the comment. And I agree a QB needs to lift his team at times. Geno is far from perfect and is not among the MVP tier of QBs for sure. However, he led all QBs in game winning drives last year and leads all QBs in that number over the last two years. Not sure how you can argue he doesn’t lift his team in those moments.
