I feel this song as a trust fall, like, whatever the context of the relationship in question, just being open and vulnerable. It reads at first blush to me (I was young when it was released) as a celebration love song, but I get the potential betrayal undercurrents. But it feels like the overall tone is one of blissful surrender

I was fortunate to see him at the Greek theater at UC Berkley in the early to mid 1970's. Fantastic show. The song Look What You've Done to Me was accompanied by the Eagles and Toto, also David Foster on keyboards and composing. So many more great songs to hear, enjoy

Boz is the main man. Saw him three times. Good reaction india. As I always have said, music/lyrics is autobiographical to the listeners situation at the time listening to the song. Play, or give a listen to "Freedom For the Stallon" . More Boz is definitely fine for me. Been listening to boz since the classic "Loan Me A Dime" from 69. An instrumental masterpiece. With lyrics to match if you miss your woman.

Good song, but weird vibe when sung by a man. I like Rita Coolidge's cover better. Now that I think about it, the same for "Fire" by the Pointer Sisters. It was originally written by Bruce Springsteen, but it just comes off as incredibly creepy from a man's perspective. It works much better as a song sung by a woman, and although I don't think either Bruce or the Pointers intended it this way, I think it actually works best as a song sung by a woman to another woman. Anyway, if you haven't covered anything by the Pointer Sisters yet, I recommend you get on it. Also, I'm not sure exactly what's going on with your Golden Girls shirt, but I think I like it.
