@@dxb8086 Boy naturally hold back against girls in full contact sports because they're afraid of hurting the girl. A great way to see this is for you to watch how a girl wrestles another girl compared to a boy wrestling that same girl. Look up Heaven Fitch wrestling boys vs wrestling girls and you will see the girls are way more aggressive than the boys.

@@dxb8086 I've watched many, MANY of these boy/girl matches. In nearly 100% of them, the boy holds back at some point. This usually occurs when he DOESN"T grab or hold, or even TOUCH the girl in the same places he would with a boy opponent. Many of the boys even say they feel uncomfortable roughing the girl up, as that is what they are taught from infancy.

I was a middle school wrestling coach about 20 years ago; we got our first female wrestlers. We had to learn how to reteach wrestling because one of the biggest things these young ladies could do was wiggle out of most holds was because they were so flexible. I see many of these young ladies have good technique along with an insane ability to flex out of the holds.

@gomezasc I agree that can be a problem for boys who don't set it up right/tight. They need to remember that it is harder to get a tight half-nelson on those slim shoulders and neck and slippery arms. But I feel a lot of boys end up having to put too much pressure on the half-nelson -- so that it can slip out. In many cases, all they would have to do is to get the other hand/arm under the girls near-side leg and use that to help lever her on over to her back? Less of the work/pressure on the neck?

I coach, I just started watching these matches and to be honest know nothing about wrestling. I am impressed with the toughness and fight in these girls. It seems to my eye many of the boys victories come from literally lifting the girls off their feet. I've not seen a girl do that yet.

I've watched a few of these videos and I just don't think boys and girls should be wrestling each other. I wrestled in high school, over 50 years ago, so my views are in keeping with what was appropriate back then. I think that girls wanting to participate in the sport is great, but to me, coed in this sport is inappropriate. Both are at a disadvantage in how and what can be touched, in trying to control their opponents. Obviously there's a difference in their upper body strength and distribution of body weight. The girls are impressive in being able to wiggle out of holds as you mentioned. You're correct about their flexibility. But I think part of it too is that, in my opinion, girls are able to tolerate a higher level of pain than guys. Just are, in my opinion. The old country doctor that delivered me way back when, used to say that every time a woman gives birth, the father should have to sh_t a watermelon. Second, with girl's lower center of gravity, I notice that from the bottom, they are able to twist and throw their hips over top, in an effort to reverse position. It's interesting to watch. Anyway, I just think that there's a big difference between coed wrestling and coed vollyball, softball, tennis, golf, etc. Just sayin'.

Boys pinning girls happens in 90% of fights at the amature level. And almost hundred percent in professional wrestling. But it's hardly uploaded cos it's not a significant win for the boy or audience. But a girl winning is very significant to the girl and females in the audience. They relish it and upload severally to KZread and instagram.

I admire her for her resistance against an strong and active male wrestler!

ok so I'm kinda new to these actual wrestling matches. I watch ufc all the time and in mma, the girls never fight the boys. Amanda nunez wouldn't do well against urirah faber so therefore why are the boys fighting the girls. Is this new or have these mixed matches been going on for a while now?

@@silentscopez1364 it's the other way round: when girls go in a men dominant sports, where there are few girls, they are not forced, but have to fight with guys bc there a no (or to less) female competitors. The guys are forced to fight with girls even if they refuse to.

That girl was an older experienced wrestler and the boy a freshman who was inexperienced (but he had good wrestling instincts I think) about wrestling yet he totally dominated her except for when he got out in front of the girl and she reversed him (totally unforced error due to his inexperience). The boy would have been leading 13 - 2 in points at the end -- that is not holding your own -- it is a wipe-out. I'm sure you are correct to suggest that the girl does well against other girls though.

There is only one word that comes to mind: HARAM!

It's just a numbers reason. There are fewer female than male wrestlers. So the only way a girl gets to compete at all is to join the boys league. My kids play hockey and you see it all the time there too, girls have to join the boys teams in order to get any games.

That's gotta be so awkward...

Johnny Test they don’t belong. If they want to be guys they can wrestle with their own kind. We have separation of sports for a reason. Guys are taught and disciplined for rough housing with the girls then to only be put in a no win situation. This is feminist bullshit and it will be pushed back against on all levels.

She pinned him a few weeks later in this season. He was not happy about it.

The guy has one video of a guy beating Fallon Fratone there are at least 5 other videos where she beats a different guy, Also one with Aeri Osha but she beats guys in some other videos in one video guy taps out against a girl her name I do not know and ref does not see it so they go another round and guy is declared winner.

I guess what's sad about this the most is that boy in the match utterly sucked. However he was able to just overpower her because he's a male. Hilarious how the ref let her crossface from 3 feet away.. pretty sure that's striking not wrestling.

@trevorbainter3321 I agree, but he "sucked" (not the word I would use) only because he was a newbie wrestler -- but while he was inexperienced he did have decent instincts -- except for that move to the front (3:55) when girl was able to reverse him briefly. But for that brief period he dominated (I guess he was up on points 13 - 2?) and I'm pretty sure that actually he pinned her at least once -- but like you implied the referee seemed to be trying to help her.

Stop talking shit when the dude can't even grab the chest or between the legs. He is trying to do his best in this awkward ass match. Shouldn't happen and it's embarrassing we still do this

Fun to watch except for having to get past a ridiculous referee who was blatantly unfair and favored the girl. I'll guess the boy won 13 - 2 -- could not see the refs hands on some of the near falls -- but he was avoiding checking out the girl's shoulders when they were clearly pinned to the mat several times -- boy should have won by a pin. The boy was clearly a beginner (probably a freshman based on that "baby-face" (just my impression -- no insult meant) and the girl was obviously an experienced wrestler. But the boy was able to use his superior strength and quickness to grind the girl into the mat for most of the match. The only time she was on top at all is when the boy's inexperience got him got in front of the girl (3:54) for no good reason BTW. So she was able to take advantage of it and reverse him for her only points. But even when she was on top she couldn't do anything with him. That nasty and illegal punch (disguised as a cross face) that she slammed on him (4:23) should have been a penalty point -- she was an angry, frustrated girl! 😂 I'm sure she had expected put this inexperienced boy's scalp on her trophy shelf. The chubby ref was looking right at the slam and ignored it. And also, even as inexperienced as he was I think the boy pinned the girl at least once (at 2:02) and maybe twice (at 1:50) but it was not called. That ref must have been the girl's uncle LOL.

I can tell she's been wrestling longer than he has. Girl are generally better from the bottom due to flexibility. But this boy was actually an awful wrestler he relied on speed and strength.
