  I know this is 2 years old, but I'm surprised and delighted to say that the state of female wrestling has elevated astronomically in the last decade. There were a *few* girl wrestlers (overall) back when I was in High School on the boys teams filling out weights where boys weren't. Kudos to those girls for tenacity, but those matches rarely lasted more than 20-30 seconds, regardless of skill of their competition. Girls/Women's wrestling has come a long way.

  Awful display of sportsmanship. Had nothing to do with her gender. I thought she showed a lot of grit and toughness not to mention some skill. Her poor attitude at the end though was disappointing, although the guy didn't go out of his way to congratulate her for a good match either. I wasn't one of the participants, so not really fair to comment, but the optics leave something to be desired.

  Absolutely!! I'm sure there are exceptions of girls beating boys in competitive sports but I'm sure wrestling is not that sport.

  I seen a girl on the last championship match ehen i was in high school be in that same position she was in eith a jacked up dude. She was able to get her legs behind him while he was on top snd flip him over winning the match whole crowd went crazy.

  When girls wrestle guys, an enduring long bout, in my opinion is a W for girls. If they can last a couple of long rounds that’s a w. L for the guy for even struggling with a woman

  I wrestled from the time I was 5 until the time I was 33 I also coached for 20 years She's already one minute with this guy I give her more credit than you guys could ever My granddaughter wrestled and took second in the State finals in the boys championship If she wants to wrestle a boy then that's up to her there should be no criticism If she gets beat she gets beat I don't see any complaints when a boy goes against a girl in their sport Too much hypocritical criticism Take care boys!? ❄️
