In this video I will teach you how to do a basic box fill calculation for the 2017 NEC code Table 314.16(A). I will also show you where to find this table in the Ugly's 2020 reference and in the Dewalt electrical professional reference as well. Learning how to do this simple calculation is vital to one's electrical career in order to do installations according to the code. I do try to keep the video concise while at the same time making sure that im as detailed as possible so that you can clearly understand how to make these calculations properly. This is the first video of this playlist that I've created and plan to continue adding video's to frequently. I also have other playlists as well, most of them on conduit bending strategies for seasoned electricians and apprentices as well. I believe anyone that any electrician in his career can learn from the video's I've posted. I have over 22 years in the field working in all types electrical work ranging from Hi-rise commercial and residential buildings to Hospitals and Industrial work. There are so many people already that have video's on the NEC code. I Just started a playlist on code calculations myself. I think you would be better off going to a creator that already has a library of video's posted. I don't mind making a video if you can tell me specifically what it is you are looking for. when you say clamp the only thing that comes to mind is an mc clamp. we mount our j boxes with self tapers

he's referring to the boxes that have clamps inside the box, instead of a standard knockout that you have to use a mc connector. it doesnt negate the need for mc clamps/ straps every 6' and 12' before entering the box.

Yes actually i do. kzread.info/head/PLOshL7_adwvNEfRHAvdWXDozM6T82FHYP I had first started to make videos with advanced conduit bending methods. Which is just trig based bending. Parts 1 to 3 are just an intro to the playlist but very important its the foundation of this way of bending. This method of bending really is a whole different way of bending. I hope you enjoy it. It may seem very long but after you learn the formulas it will not take long to complete the bends. Also learning this way of bending was really formed for rigid bending but can be used for emt as well. This really brings your bending game way past being a master. You become what i call a "Conduitologist". Enjoy.
