Beautiful beer, Tom. You are 100% right too. A crappy dig can be turned around with just that one outstanding find that makes it all worthwhile. Had the same experience myself last night, when after finding nothing for ages, out popped a stoneware ginger and an octagonal poison. Spot on.

THAT BEER WAS EPIC!!!!!!! Nice well in mate. Those stephenson brothers are everywhere up here as they were made in bradford yorkshire. The mill is still there where they made potash, soaps and emulsions also. and at one point were the biggest importer of olive oil into britain

I found a Stephenson brothers furniture cream the other week, but clear glass with drippy lip. Cool to see the aqua equivalent! That Warrington bottle is a nice one!

Great dig Tom, sometimes quality is better than quantity, had a fair number of digs that were crap, then up pops a couple of nice items that make moving all the ash worthwhile, well done.
