What amazing finds, that poison is just stunning! I believe the coin you found is a George III ‘spade’ Guinea token, used for gaming etc. and a really nice find. Never ceases to amaze me the metal finds that are undiscovered in old tips, one local to me crashed into the sea and metal gets washed everywhere, old coins military badges, medals and the like. Mental stuff really when you think about what they threw away! 😮

I think you are correct about a gaming token it was copper plated and soon fell apart

Spade Guinea token Yes, But put with real Guinea's unsuspected traders would fall for it as a real one , you could get hanged in those days for forgery , so it would have some form of advertising on it , I Had one with Pear's soap 😀 Good finds Tom , Well spotted with the Coin /Token . Great hunt as usual mate. Water is a nightmare on my local tip it’s like wading through treacle but I’ve noticed I’ve found some really nice stoneware within the water. Would this be because it’s heavy would it fall through the layers in time. Cheers Tom. 😂

I remember your brilliant digs on that early tip Tom where you got the hybrid etc? They were deep digs but you got good stuff out. That’s what brought me to your channel 👍🍾

not surprised you loved that poison. but what surprised me was the whisky, the colour is so pale it is almost peach. good to see you being sensible with the waterproof gloves, hope shane took it easy on his back in that wet muck - had the look of wet cement

It as to do with the soil , as you have seen, some tips even preserve the label's, Tom Had a fantastic label in this video but unfortunately on a broken bottle 😏, If the bottles are sick or been hot , its very difficult to clean 😕

@Go Pro K UK I get you but I meant the good ones that aren't sic some come up quite shiny but never as pristine as Tom's I've tried all sorts of polish glass cleaner stardrops etc bit they never come up with that same sparkle 😊

@@andyn3532,Then you don't get me , there are no buts to what I've said , the tip as not been subjected to extreme heat , or disturbance , hence shiny no scratches and no sickness , just a rub with your glove brings them up 🙂

I think it was a fake coin probably a gaming token it turned out to be poor quality copper plated and soon crumbled in to bits
