They are worth every single cent I paid. I didn't buy them for gimmicky features that nobody really needs. You pay for best ANC and comfort, hence their name QC for Quiet and Comfort and that's what they deliver with no competitor even close to match them in these two core disciplines.

AirPods Pro 2 ANC is just as good and they are also quite comfortable. Sound is subjective so one can prefer the AirPods sound and one can prefer the Bose sound. However, the AirPods Pro 2 have way more features that matter to people such as automatic switching between Apple devices, Always listening Siri and Find My support. The Bose are overpriced and lacking. I returned mines.

Great review as always!!
Great review and appreciate your honest opinion also. Many thanks ol' fellow.
For me the fit of these earbuds are excellent, I have trouble getting earbuds too stay in these don’t budge, The ANC is excellent however with Quiet Mode on I could still hear the announcements on the train. For the sound I find these are very detailed in the low end but find these are very bright sounding in the high ends regardless how much I tweak the EQ. For me the pros are the ANC and the fit for me and the cons would be the sound don’t think they sound that great Edit : Changed too the Large Tips and went back too the no1 stability bands and what a difference with the sound more punchy bass and the high end is more detailed not as bright sounding, now sounds more like premium earbuds
I can't understand why they didn't let you use both buds independently . 🤷🏽♂️. That's a deal breaker for allot of people.

Thank You for nice video. I dont know to decide which earbuds to buy 😞 I am fan of Sennheiser and MTW3 do great job I believe even with ANC. I think is all about preferences and everybody is different and look for different things. Bowers & Wilkins PI7 are very expansive for example and winner 2021 as best headphones 🤷🏼♀️ For me is important to pair it with another device and ANC feature - if I walk on noisy street, I need to hear person on another side and also I need the person to hear me and no cars and motorbikes etc…

Some posts miss the point of product selling… If you can claim to be the best at something, you need to have a product to sell and if it is as it says, then you can always create your own niche market. Bose were there from the start with ANC. That was their market. 300 dollars is a lot to one person for what they want from a product when comparing it to another but to BOSE who already did their homework, they know that if you want the best in ANC, you go to them. Everything else is secondary. I want the most efficient ANC so I choose BOSE. If I want the best where sound is concerned i look at another tried and tested product. It is what it is… Besides, if you understand the market, EVERYTHING IS PRICED UP TO BE PRICED DOWN COME SALE TIME. Choose your budget and then your product…

This is all true.
this question may have already been answered, but, when you want to pair these with an iPod touch, is there a bluetooth button on the charge case that you have to push to pair the earbuds with the device itself? I have to do this with my current Bose Sport earbuds and it can get pretty annoying having to push the bluetooth button on the case until the blue lights flash on the buds themselves.
Really good review
I can trade in one of my older Bose earbuds and get a €100 discount on these. So for me, pretty good deal. My interests are ANC and sound.
I stopped myself from buying them until I heard your thoughts, it was really weird listening to everybody praising them for the ANC, yet almost any channel i follow dropped a review. Thanks Keith!
Anyone else having issues using the left earbud only? I updated the firmware. And it turns off in like 5 seconds while using the left. Loses connection and just stops playing sound. But will stay connected if I use the right only. Or both. Any help?
We buy earbuds for listening to music and not for other fancy features. Extra other features are good and welcome. So what other product to buy better than Bose for today’s music. Though I also feel, price tag is high.
I'll be buying these soon early this year, especially when an update is coming that will give them the same codec that the Nuratrue Pros have; AptX Lossless!!!
Question how’s the tracking on these cuz I misplace my stuff all the time
I bought these after looking at the feature list and wanting superior noise canceling. I assumed they would work, but they are unbelievably frustrating to live with. They fail to charge even when plugged in. But the worst thing is they lose the Bluetooth pairing all the time. Things you take for granted on any pair of earbuds just don’t work. I have tried both the Ultra and qc 2’s and both have unbelievable quality issues that I have never had with any other earbuds. The noise cancellation is really good but if you have to repair on a flight or the battery is dead after hours of charging it does you no good.
Only SBC and AAC. What were they thinking?

In your specific case I'm going to have to say the new Airpods Pro 2. Mainly because you want get to take advantage of Sony's LDAC playback and the Airpods work great with iPhones.
My experience with the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds 2 was disappointing. The only negative thing i found with this product was I had a difficult time "Pairing" them to my Android cellphone. It would pair and unpair unexpectedly which was disappointing but other than that I truly can't say anything else negative about them.

Mine are super glitchy with youtube . Borderline unusable. Shame because they sound good.
Please test the Cleer Alpha headphones. I have the latest Bose and got the Cleer as a gift. The Cleer's blew me away. Thank you for this revies. No multipoint? What? A no-go right there as far as I'm concerned. And I can't use left and right bud independently?? That was the reason I left Jabra a couple of years ago. Booo Bose!
Do they have find my earbuds?
I just bought a pair like 20 minutes ago, I have about a month and a half for the return/exchange window. I’ll try them out. But I’ve been really eying the Bang Olufsen Ex - everything I’m reading says that the B&O has the very best music quality, my main hesitation about them is the poor reviews about noise canceling and wind noise when bicycling … is $400 for the highest quality Fidelity of music worth the loss of noise canceling integrity…. ⚖️🤔 … I may go ahead and buy the B&O to find out and return either those or the Bose……. 🔮

I bought it because its most expensive earbuds to get best quality but I found its the worst, imagine pay $299 and you can't use tge left side only, with others you can double the talking time because most people using only one so you gona have longer time by using only one each time, the transference mode not comfortable because you can feel automatically going on and of even when you change it manually will continue working automatically, when do call the sound you hear too low you need to put both on so you can hear clearly one not enough until you use quiet mode. Finally why we didn't see any video talking about that major issues specifically when pay $299, I bought it yesterday from Bestbuy and definitely I gonna return it ASAP. Just don't waste you mony guys on it. Thanks
These sounds like AirPods Pro without Spatial Audio . That’s what it is . Trust me I tried them today on the nearby store .

You do realize people buy them for best ANC and comfort? The points you mentioned are extras, not essential. I read a review today - Tech Radar I think? Don't quote me on the source, but a fairly reputable website, where they were supposed to add (APX?) early this year. Not sure if/when that happened but I just got mine today, and a software update was needed (normal for electronics). All I can say is, they're comfy, sound is good, and the only way one fell out was I brushed my left ear with my hand while driving. That stopped the music and took it off quiet mode. I didn't try to restart the music with one in; I wanted the ANC. Stuffed the LH one back in and it restarted right where it left off.
Now that you have brought up Sony's WF 1000XM4, can we please talk about their obnoxious battery leaking, after the last firm ware update, how can it be fixed, not everyone lives in the US, where Sony is offering an out of Warranty Replacement at no additional charge.

Alternatively, you could go buy another well known branded pair with someone paying for you with your money and see if you are, as you say, unlucky. That might work. I say this as i have been listening to music since the Sony walkman was invented. That should give you an idea of how old I am. Never had, as you say, bad luck with earbuds, just cassette tapes being chewed up due to over use and heat on a summer’s day… Be lucky! As for whether they are worth the money, everyone’s budget compared to opinion is surely not the same, you would agree. I would, if I could afford the price buy them for the fact that the ANC is my primary feature as I travel a lot. As for the sound, if you know how to tweak your music, which I do, speaking from years of experience, you will eventually find the sound you are listening for. Better sound by research was a BOSE slogan. I did just that, research and have enjoyed their products as well as Sony’s and Sennheisers high end head sets over the years. I’ll say this as a fact. No one headset is perfect. At lease for me. I have found over the years that Classical music versus EDM vs. Hip Hop vs. Pop / Rock music is so different depending the headphones you use. But then again, we all hear things differently and how we want to… Bose is not the be all to end all.

AirPods Pro don’t fit in a lot of ears. They are built like crap. Cheap and junk. Software issues abound. And due to bad build quality, they come loose inside the case and you end up with dead battery. Just on build quality alone the Bose take the win. I bought the first set. Still using them. I bought them as it was the ANC which was the deal breaker. I was not 100 percent satisfied so i also bought Sennheisers and Jabra 75elite ANC headsets as well. My conclusion. Each pair does something the other one does not. Best ANC: Bose. Best sound stage: Sennheisers Best fit and battery life as well as bass for reggae / hip hop and soul music from my perspective: Jabra 75. I now desire the BOSE qc2. Why? Because the size and shape of the first version was always going to be an oversight when I bought them. Basically, there are ugly and obtrusive. BOSE know that. That’s probably why they reduced the size of the qc ii. I hear ( no pun intended…) the ANC has been further improved but they have upped the price and reduced the features which the could have included so that could be a deal breaker for many people considering the competition out there. For me, it is not as a problem. I want really decent ANC I can rely on when I travel. The sound quality I can remedy. The rest is just added ( in this case, lack of…) features which you accept or not. Yeah, Sony have upper game as have Bang & Olufsen and Bowers & Wilkins but at a price as well..! Bose know what they have done in marketing a product they know very well how to sell. They may not be the best, but everyone has a choice and opinion. If I have to choose, I am going with Bose for the ANC and now its smaller size which matters most to me. But when the time is right… The price will certainly come down. All products sold to the masses have a shelf life and will inevitably be reduced to sell. That is the time to buy unless you consider 300 dollars within your budget…
Bose frankly have nothing for them except ANC and Bose name, and lack too many basic functionalities today. And I have this impression that Bose designs its products only for the Apple environment, while they do not have the advantages of the Apple earbuds linked to the H chip 🤔 In 2022, with a case and earbuds of this size, no wireless charging, just 6 hours per charge, no mono mode, impossible to deactivate ANC, no multipoint, no ADAPTIVE APTX or LDAC, and an astronomical price, 😳 The Airpods Pro 2 even if they are only 20% better than the previous ones will be the default choice for 90% of Apple users, and they still went from 4h30mn to 6h with ANC activated, volume management directly on the earbuds, and above all it's Apple. In the Android world, Bose's proposal this year is difficult to justify against 1More, Soundcore, OnePlus Buds Pro, and other Sennheisers. I think the Airpods Pro 2 will still roll over the competition.
