    Cutting 6'x2' access plumbing panel and then using to mount backing strips to attach plywood access panel. Lastly used to locate screw lines for screws so that they align with the backing strips. Incredibly handy tool allowing you to always measure and cut plumb and level as your absolute baseline. Love it

    Will this laser shoot a line across the ceiling, or a dot straight up as a plumb Bob would? I am an electrician. They are good for keeping light rows straight. Didn't know if this one at the price point could do that.Thanks great reviews

  • @MarkThomasBuilder

    @MarkThomasBuilder

    5 жыл бұрын

    Thanks, it's not exactly a plumb bob, where it will shoot a point straight above it or below it. I use the laser vertical line to run electrical conduit perfectly plumb on the wall. It helps me know where to drill the holes in the ceiling above the electrical switch box. The more I think about it, that might be what you're asking. Does that help answer your question?

    I have the same mount no matter how you tighten the laser to the mount the swivel is too loose. When using it for vertical lines my laser moves a little with the slightest draft or wind. Does yours do the same?

    Good observation, I noticed that too, but it seems to stay in the same position while indoors. A couple skinny wood shims will hold it in place. I have the another Bosch product, the GLL 100 G and it comes with a smaller mount, the BM3, that works better and can be fully tightened down.
