You forgot to mention that the Borg Sphere is capable of an orbital bombardment powerful enough to blow the roof off a medium sized warehouse.

And the incredible ska scene they have
Love the video as always. Man I really want that half-destroyed refit Enterprise model. Probably sold for more money than I'll ever see in my life.

ROVER25X not too unobtainable for some people with thousands of dollars burning a home in their wallet. I would love any of the Enterprise models, not D or E though, I never really liked either ship. The self destruct version in this video was amazing, I wish I had modeling skills like that.

Same feeling here, but for the Ambassador Class model. Heck, even Andromeda's props were too expensive for me to ever afford; I would've loved to have a Systems Commonwealth High Guard uniform. Then again, I haven't had a good place to keep things like that in recent years anyway, so alas.

@@SciFiFan2012 bruh. The TNG Enterprise is so much cooler than the original TOS one
The best star trek KZread series ever
The borg sphere is also seen in the voyager episode unimatrix 0 pt2.
The passion is still there, but...._dat energy drop after becoming a dad_.

Satoshi Matrix Yeah this one does feel lower energy. Mostly just speaking more quietly closer to the mic, I think. Other episodes feel like he projects more.

😮 that happened to me. But being a father has been the most rewarding and frustrating experiences of my life. But you get one chance at this. All the outside things one thinks are important ...aren’t...you mess this up it’s over. Your daughters and son are gone. And you don’t miss your children. You miss how they were. My kids are physicians doing well but there gone. Good new....TREK MARATHONS!!! your sites and all the fans there to bring this old man back. So take heart and thank all of you.

:D YOU'RE BACK!
The Borg Sphere is also featured on Voyager in the episodes "Dark Froniter", "Survival Instinct", "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy", "Child's Play", "Unimatrix Zero (Part 2)" & "Endgame". There's a good closeup of the CGI Model in "Child's Play"
Good to see you back again
Thanks for the video Junk Ball! You make the best trek videos out there!
"... howdy, y'all!" 😂😂😂
i'm super glad you're making videos again

Excellent! Glad to see you back again.
Good to see you back!
More Junkball!!!! Awesome.
Recently discovered Junkball Therapy/Transmission/Media content a few days ago, and am enjoying all of it! Your satire, dry humor and spontaneity are quite effective. You've already posted numerous videos, and I am looking forward to viewing them all.
A great video as always.
That Gainsville, FL joke is spot on.
So happy you're back!!
In my head canon there is a Borg Cone inside the Borg Sphere. It's one large nesting egg weigh various basic shapes.
I love your show.
Great video! Good to have you back, Junkball.
Your back! Yay!
Welcome back!
Thanks for another quality video. Thorough and informative as usual.
glad to see your back hope you had a good Fall
Great video as always.
Thank you! Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas. :)
Been watching so much Lore reloaded recently... I completely forgot how I love your videos' dry humor and background music :-)
HE'S ALIIIVE!!!
IVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER

Yay!!!!
you're videos have this ham fisted subtlety to them i can't really describe.
welcome back
It’s the Borg Junkball? lol
Keep the vids coming!
IT LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELL YA MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you
Hurray! An early Christmas present! :-] )
In the Voyager finale, Voyager is brought inside a Borg Sphere. Voyager is about 350 meters long, and the Sphere is 600 meters in diameter. Not much wiggle room. I guess that’s one of those little pesky details.
Ueeey a new Retrospektive
The borg sphere is also instantly recognizable as one of those balls out of a Selectric typewriter.
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely well done and very well informatively explained and executed in every detail possibly provided indeed 👌.
Thank youuuuuuuuu!! ps feel better.
He’s back! Missed your videos mate.
Ty
Missed you!
You've been missed :)
This a surprise
There is also a Borg Sphere model for the Star Trek Attack Wing Game. As well as a Borg Cube model that is around 1 cubic foot in size that has a detachable sphere.
cant wait for the borg pyramid
Please more Videos!,,,,
It was also seen in the last Voyager episode to air! It is destroyed as Voyager returns to the Alpha Quadrant!
Awesome Video. Liked the use of Friday the 13th Part 3 Theme
Get well soon! 😁 My voice is toast right now, too.
4:43 It looks like a giant 'golfball' from an IBM Selectric typewriter.
Nice, was getting worried that you may have found other hobbies. You getting over a cold? Can't wait till your next video, they are always alot of fun.
Nitpick: the large aperture on the sphere isn't a torpedo launcher; it's the entrance to the ship's hangar. Second nit: apparently, some spheres are much bigger than the scout/escape vessel. Note that the Voyager was pulled deep within such a large sphere in "Endgame." Those tiny bits aside, I love your channel :)
YOUR BACK for now see you in the next 5 months.
Please do a video on the Borg Cube.
Love the video and the information, the Borg Sphere also made more appearances in Voyager. At 1:42 I disagree with you because Starfleet had multiple ships during the episode Endgame firing on the sphere and they couldn't destroy it. During First contact after entering the time wave shields, and other systems were knocked out so it is safe to safe to say the Sphere was destroyed with 4 quantum torpedoes because it was heavily damaged.
:D YAY I LOVE YOUR CONTENT!!!
3:16 god without the paneling it SERIOUSLY looks like the death star
Been waiting for this! I like this topic, and its connection to later Trek movies/series. BUT maybe you should re-record the voiceover when you are feeling better?
the BORG sphere is actually a Star Wars Death Star retrofit

Again, ILM
They don't want it to look like the death star but give it an "eye" just like death star...
I love your videos. and my uncle who is from the time star wars vs star trek said that the death star is 160km not 16.
Glad to hear from you, Junkball! Your mic doesn't sound so good though.
Nice to see you back with another video! I hope you're doing alright, since your voice in this video sounds like you have the flu. This was a very interesting retrospective though!
Nice to see a new video from you. How about a Wolf 359 retrospective?
What is that awesome tune that plays at the start and end of your videos dude? I love it
Also had to do with the Apollo 13 mission and problem they had with breathing filters. Fitting a round peg in a square hole.
I always remind myself of the space station model from "2001" which was 'lost', only to be found in a trash bag on the side of a road months after filming.
the BORG sphere was also in STAR TREK VOYAGER ep DARK FRONTIER

And Star wars a new hope, without all the external panels...if it's true that they used a death star model to star from...
I'm from Gainesville!
2:20 “Howdy y’all” 😂
"Which means Paramount lost it" Not necessarily. Memory Alpha does say the auction cleared them out "save for a relatively small collection of choice items retained for exhibition purposes, which are presently under the custody of CBS Consumer Products when not on tour."
Junkball analyzing Junkball ... "the narrator's voice has been lowered by 10 decibels, to communicate a smoother, calmer understanding"
""MAGRATHEA!!!!!" "no, no this is borgsphere" "NO NO IT'S MAGRATHEA!!!"
Never clicked on a video so fast...
Felt like I was being gently lectured, not expecting that calm approach
The Borg have balls i give them that.
Some of the playmates toys from First Contact were made from prototype artwork.
As a Florida man that Gainesville joke made me laugh out loud

i'm guessing the sphere rolled off a table at paramount and they lost it when it rolled in to an alternate universe, as most round things do when they roll of tables.
i love the music he uses. what is it?
Borgball is best ball. True fakt.
"lost it" aka someone at paramount took it :)
