Everyone in this movie is either an actor or a famous person paid to be in the film, including those "gangstas." They were nice to Sacha Baron Cohen's character, Borat, because that's how the script for the movie was written. Note: This isn't to say there aren't gangsters in the real world who will generally be nice to people unless you make them mad or are from a rival gang. This is simply saying that those black men in this film are actors following a script and not actual gangsters.

Honestly these might be the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen in a film. It’s such an all time classic, genuinely makes me laugh constantly every time I watch it again. VERY NICE!

I like how they are skeptical and dismissive of him, until he makes a joke about how the fat one looks like Michael Jackson.
