    Every time he opened the valve on the oxygen tank, you could hear it detonating real bad, cause it was running too lean while adding air without increasing fuel. I'm pretty sure you shattered the piston rings/ring grooves on the piston and that's why you lost compression. It would be interesting to see the pistons.

    Do a compression test on the corsa and then try some miracle products that fixes your engine. LIke seafoam or some other product and see if it works.

    @@espneindanke9172 Yes , H2O but the engine needs to be hot first so that the water vaporises immediately it is injected and then gets hot enough to split the molecules into H and O atoms.

    Guys, you got the set-up wrong. A dry system, be it O2 or NOS is of no use. With more oxygen, you need more fuel. You simply ended up running too lean, either burnt your valve seats or pistons.

    Its not too lean, it's running way too hot because it's pre burning the fuel causing it to knock. That's why you need more fuel to cool the intake gases and the overall combustion, other way to solve this is by adding water/methanol injection or lowering the compression.

    Only high performance cars and motorcycles have rev limiters... boring city cars can be revved anyway up to the point that they don’t go any faster. And then break.

    It was engine knocking. The result of poor mix with high compression at high temperature, and low octane petrol.

    @@artoodiitoo the fuel burns out before the pistons are completely compressed. But what really fucks the engine is that pure oxygen can set the fuel off in any part of the engine that's hot enough. That shit is explosive.

    Yes, the engine knocked, but that's not what killed the engine. It was the temperatures running too high, burning out the piston seals.

    You should get the fuel solenoid half of a N.O.S.™ setup. That way you won't lean out and detonate.

    Stoich value doesn't scale linear when running pure oxygen, and WOT lambda definitely doesn't. With 100 percent pure oxygen I'd run no less than 3:1 stoich and around 2.85:1 at wide open, just imagine running ethanol with that kind of stoich value on straight gasoline!

    Do it Again with another car and put the torch in the intake but not ignited and adjust the airfuel ratios on the torch and it will just add extra fuel(propane) and oxygen It will just work like a nitrous System and of you adjust the torch correctly it will not run to Lean or rich

    You can actually seriously hurt the motor before you even get to the point where it does run properly... As you saw in the video, when they first tried it out, it worked pretty well but within even a few seconds it started running poorly because it was already running way lean.

    It would be super interesting to see the damage that has happened inside the engine, it would be awesome if you would take the head off and maybe a few piston to see that are the rings damaged or the valves burned. When you are going to blow the engine i suggest you try to test what happens when the timing belt breaks like at 5000rpm :) Maybe cut the belt halfway etc? Plenty of videos of destroying and engine but i have yet to see one with timing belt that broke

    The engine management system only adjusts the air fuel mixture very slowly based on the new values of the emission sensor in the exhaust. And usually it leaves this adjusted mode (closed loop) when under full throttle / heavy load, then it operates in open loop mode.

    De slang mondt toch uit in de inlaat? Mocht je dan al 200 bar door het slangetje drukken, dan verdwijnt nog een heeeel groot deel gewoon vanuit de luchtinlaat naar buiten. Het is niet hermetisch afgesloten.

    @@bartjanflikkema Hoeft niet perse hoor, met de motor zijn zuigkracht en 200bar gaat het meeste erin. Hierdoor is het blokje ook zo snel uitgeleurt geworden (zuigerveren).

    Should've had a way of mixing extra fuel in with the oxygen. As soon as you turn the knob the car will lean out and damage the engine

    *Replace the entire exhaust system from the manifold to the back box (muffler) with catalytic converters and see with an exhaust gas analyser if this results in cleaner exhaust gases!* I want to pass the emissions test that way! _Vervang het uitlaatsysteem over de gehele lengte van spruitstuk tot aan de einddemper door katalysatoren en kijk met een viergastest of dit schonere uitlaatgassen oplevert!_ Mooie apk oplossing...

    @12 Volts how is that going to work? The comp controls the air/fuel ratio. Not to mention the timing, spark and throttle blade. I'm pretty sure you're either trolling, stupid or a lil of both.

    @12 Volts That would mean swapping a carburetor on the engine, which would kill the fuel economy. No car designed after the nineties has an engine that is meant to use a carburetor. And no, my car doesnt have remote control, airbags or abs. It still has electronic fuel injection though. Airbags will cause more injuries than no airbags, but that is because deaths are not counted as injuries. Ok, maybe in really low speeds airbags do more harm than good, but hat hardly matters.

    @12 Volts Any reasonably modern engine will not get a single drop of fuel without electricity. You need a carb for that. What are you on about? A carburetor is tuned to one set of conditions, and cannot change the tune depending on the environment, that is the whole point of fuel injection. Take your head out of your ass. The amount of injuries airbags cause is much smaller than the amount of injuries they prevent.

    i got another idea for compressed air entirely... think about it. its compressed. why expand it into a cylinder only to compress it AGAIN, with pumping losses? inject it into the combustion chamber at TDC... get rid of the compression stroke altogether, run two stroke...

    Was that oxygen tank full? Usually turbo-s have somewhere around 0.4-1.2 bar pressure. That tank has at least 8 bars. :)

    Yeeesss, always wondered about this! Now I'm curious, if you used a regulator on the o2 bottle, and then grabbed the propane tank and regulator from the torch, could that compensate for the lack of fuel? Only one way to find out...! By the way, depending on the purity of the propane the octane level is much higher. (Here in the USA most propane has a very high percentage of butane, and the percentage varies wildly from different suppliers) But even with a "bad tank" the octane will be no lower than 100. One supplier quoted me 136!! That's race gas territory!!

    zou zeggen probeer remvloeistof bovenop de zuiger te leggen. daarna schoonmaken en kijken of je compressie beter op wordt. vaak vastzittende zuigerveren komen los, maar wie weet.

    Thats not the problem. Its the temperature thats too high, which results in multiple combustions and that kills the engine. (and the temperature itself)

    Hey milo, how long would an engine run without oil, if you really baby it? Like I broke my oil pan but I really need to keep going. Going easy on engine revs and load. Thanks!

    AFAIK only the piston rings are destroyed. Replace them and the engine is like it was before this test. Or even better.

    A good example of why most mass-produced car production engines can only take a modest increase in power without changing engine parts for stronger components (forged pistons, altering CR, etc) and improving the rest of the car (bigger brakes, larger radiator, better suspension, etc).     I bet if you put a little hose with diesel fuel into the oxygen hose like a venturi and sprayed that in after the MAF it would go like crazy. The problem with the mixture here was that the MAF only measures the volume of intake flow not how much oxygen. You might be able to get the mixture better by just fooling this sensor but the signals might be more complicated on a fairly modern car. The oxygen sensor is only used in steady state running and is ignored during WOT and likely any hard acceleration, also like they mentioned, it only adjusts a little bit. They call it fuel trim where as the MAF does the load/rpm fuel adjusting.

    That's actually quite interesting. We all know how long an engine lasts with no oil, but I've never seen someone drive a gearbox without oil.

    @@99domini99 I have 160500-80000 km with the gearbox oil. Its my brother's old car and I asked about it and he said that atleast he hasnt changed it. So max 160500 km, min 80k. Its either original,or changed like once.

    Olijfolie wordt veel gebruikt als milieu vriendelijk smeermiddel in het huishouden. Het verbrandt pas bij hele hoge temperaturen. Ik zou wel eens willen weten wat het doet als (nood) vervanging voor motorolie.

    Masters helemaal top weer! Zag jullie bezig om de rupsen gangbaar te maken... is het een idee om een container te bestellen, en waterdicht te maken met kuilplastic. En door middel van elektrolyse al de scharnier pennen van je rupsen gangbaar te maken...... ga zo door mannen!!

    It's a great idea. You would probably need to run without the maf and a speed density tune with some very large injectors, all that oxygen, and way less timing. It would be fun to see what a tuneable car could do in the same situation

    As you know in our neighborhood a new circle road has build. When I was driving my Unimog on the paths which normally used by farmers there are now "farmers vehicle crossing"...... I can pass with the Unimog without a problem but I would like to know if it really will keep a "civilian car" from crossing. Would you like to do the test?

    Wat gebeurt er eigenlijk als je een auto op een helling parkeert. Is het mogelijk dat jullie een transparante olie pan kunnen maken? ben namelijk benieuwd of het slecht is om je auto schuin te parkeren ivm olie die ergens anders komt te zitten

    I have an idea for a video milo! You know how in ww2 they used water to improve the performance of plane engines,aka to improve compression,if i recall correctly....Why not try that and see what it does to the engine... Keep up the videos!!!
