What was the date of this event? I use to think that they were good friends, but I have changed my mind over the years. I have changed my mind for several reasons and maybe some day in the future the truth of things hidden will be revealed. Of late, Bono has made different statements and there seems to be some revisionist history going on. It's not really about Michael in general, it is more about Bono and what I think he is involved with. Sorry to be so cryptic. I want to remind every one about some statements that have been memory holed on the internet. Bono said that his wife had seen Michael approx 2 weeks before his death and told Bono that he looked shaky. Bono repeatedly said that "if he knew", he would have done something. There is a mismatch between statements and actions, in addition to the recent revisionist history. The original event was so traumatic, shocking and, mystery of the events it has taken so many years to think about this without the emotion. Something to pounder.

By many accounts, Michael was hard to be around before he died. Though it wasn't his fault. He had a severe brain injury after being assaulted. Couldn't taste or smell anything afterwards. Was quick to anger. I think this contributed to his suicide. it's incredibly sad. Bono and Edge clearly miss him, as do we all.
