I really have to wonder if he did actually change it or if Kay did. Even if it was Kay she did the right thing. Thank god she worked for Charles at the end and was able to gain knowledge and access of Charles accounts. It was Kay’s investigating and logging on to Charles’s email that was how they got the address in Idaho when Lori took off after Charles died. I bet Charles was so confused every time he saw a picture of creepy grave diggin’ Chad or heard his monotone creepy voice. I wish Charles was alive to see these two monsters get exposed and receive justice but then that would mean he would be alive when his son was murdered so I suppose it’s better this way. It’s ironic that two people so obsessed with their salvations will ultimately spend eternity in hell. Charles was so desperate for answers. It’s heart wrenching.

@@belloftheball4518 No it was totally Charles. He’s the one who did it. He knew Lori was crazy months before and it was getting worse by the day. He also knew that she called him “Ned” and “Garrett”. Also Charles told Kay all about it. And if anything happens to him, she is to give his 2 elder sons each 250,000. And JJ 500,000. Which she did and planned to for JJ until his death. So so sad. If only the Az police had listened to him. All 4 would have still been alive today.

Knowing Charles went to law enforcement numerous times for help to ask for an intervention and assessment of her and they didn't take him seriously is so cruelly heartbreaking. Its funny how she suddenly became incompetent for trial but when she was picked up police she was able to flirt her way out of a mental assessment, when Charles was still alive, and an arrest at the scene of the murder. Disgusting.

Why did that happen? Was it because their church runs many communities in that state and “own” law enforcement and other government agencies? Before the trial the church sent a letter to all the members reminding them not to help with the investigation and to consult the church’s lawyers before talking to the investigators/police. @@glenf6639 I think there might be some legal reasons here with his case, I'm not sure what that is though, maybe because it was in another county? Yes, he seems like a nice guy, one she took total advantage of, there seems to be a lot of financial implications here, I'm sure she used him and saw him for his healthy financial situation. He was not a stupid man either, he discovered something fishy was going on and of course Lori was indignant, lying and defensive, like it was his fault, then used her gullible, brainwashed brother to kill him, I have a feeling she also used her daughter to orchestrate the hit on Alex's head with the bat, something like that happened, in my opinion at least. Lori is a monstrous woman, pure sociopath, surprised she fell for someone like Chad considering he had no money, oh, actually he gained some money from Tammy's Insurance Policy I think, something like $400,000+ . I can only imagine how their i.e. Chad and Lori's relationship would have unfolded, when she had enough of him, the money ran out, who would have killed who?

The day he left was the scariest (I had a 2and 5yr old and he had insisted we move far away from my family and I had no friends) but also the best day of my life. There was a very hard year but 18yrs later my children are grown happy adults who I am proud to have raised myself without a penny or a phone call from their father. Too bad Charles didn't take JJ and go. To bad the police failed him so badly. May she rot in hell

I’m so sorry. I feel your pain. My ex and I had been married 12 years and together almost 18. We had grown up together so I really thought I could trust him but literally everything he had been saying was a lie. He didn’t even have the decency to tell me on our own. We were in the car with my 7 & 10 year old. He then left cause I couldn’t live with the lies anymore. He went over 1 1/2 years without seeing or talking to the children. Then when he got a gf he wanted to impress he wanted to come pick them up. They begged me not to send them cause the way he was to them in the past. He rarely helps out with them and the only time he has is when a friend pays the bill when he’s about to be in contempt. He still lies about everything. My kids are a little older now but I’m still trying to survive. I’m sorry to hear I’m not alone but it does help hearing about others that have made it. Well done my dear. Keep staying strong!

Doing nothing caused the deaths of two innocent children and a kind loving wife. Within days of Charles shooting Adam, lori and Alex’s brother called Det Duncan to tell him all he knew about the odd death and he gave them the evidence and a guilty conviction right on a platter but still nothing. This case hits close to home. My dad remarried (parents were divorced for many many years). My mom became unrecogniseable she accused my dad and his new wife of being evil people (we are religious). Then once she totally separated me and my sibling from my dad she began accusing us of being evil and sleeping with one another (I know disgusting right). I’m 2020 she accused both me and my bro of trying to kill her. ( my brother developed a severe mental illness and had a mental breakdown). The worst thing is, is that my dad as also totally cut me and my bro off for believing her to begin with. It’s very sad. It’s like I’ve been an orphan for the last several years. Some parents are evil, but we can’t take her to court for her ‘beliefs’. The only silver lining is that she at least didn’t kill us like Lori did. Prayers for me and my sibling would be appreciated.

They say natural causes but I wonder if he was given anything to fake symptoms of natural causes. It makes sense Lori and Chad would want to get rid of their hired executioner to prevent any ratting them out! Death ALL around these two!

I wonder how Chad Daybell’s family (namely his children) feels after finding out their own father compared living with them and their mother after he began his affair with Lori to Harry Potter living with the Dudley’s. This must be heartbreaking for them as I found my heart heavy for them when listening to this for the first time. My prayers are with them along with the Woodcocks, Colby Ryan, and the other innocent people who have been forever affected by the actions of two extremely selfish dark individuals. Once they become so self absorbed that they can’t even recognize when they’re hurting everyone around them, it’s too late. I don’t understand how she went from seemingly normal wife and mother to completely unhinged and hateful. Maybe if she hadn’t ever heard of Chad, none of this would have happened. She used to keep a track of me, send me gifts on my birthday, and yet it was just to keep me 'around'! She used to be my ex colleague, had a nasty divorce and used to be my neighbour when she stepped into my life with big bold steps! At one point she even suggested pairing me up with her ex-husband! She had multiple phones and kept juggling them around to avoid those she had heckled! A crazy mad lady! Jodi Arias too reminded me of her! All my life I dreamed of meeting a man like Charles Vallow - attractive, loving, intelligent, dynamic and loyal. A man of real depth and integrity, who according to those who knew him best, wore his gifts lightly, and never took himself too seriously. That he met and fell in love with the evil Lori and literally threw his life away on her, is heartbreaking. The fact she ultimately killed him to fund her new life with repulsive fraud Chad Daybell (later finding to her horror Charles had switched the $1m recipient of his life insurance to his sister Kay Woodcock), reveals exactly how low rent and undeserving of Charles Vallow, Lori always was! So many chilling, prescient words in Charles' written messages to Lori. He says he thinks she means to destroy him - and that's exactly what she did do! He also mentions little JJ, the adopted son they shared and "must raise together". Except once Lori had tricked the unarmed Charles into an ambush by her brother Alex Cox during an access visit (Cox riddled her unsuspecting husband with bullets one sunny morning, when he came to take JJ out to breakfast), JJ lost his protector. Just two months after Charles' July 11th 2019 murder, his 16 year old stepdaughter Tylee was killed (8th September), and JJ died 2 weeks after that, on 22nd September. Chad Daybell's wife Tammy was murdered by asphyxiation on 19th October 2019 - 10 days after she reported to police that s strange man had attempted to shoot her on her driveway, with what she thought was a paintball gun. This was undoubtedly a genuine attempt on her life by Alex Cox, though Tammy went to her grave with no prior knowledge her husband wanted her dead. Earlier that month on 2nd October, Alex Cox had also tried and failed to shoot dead Brandon Boudreaux, ex husband of Lori's niece Melani. Not for nothing was Alex Cox' nickname 'the family hitman'! The (very convenient for Chad & Lori) sudden death of 51-year-old Cox on December 12th that year was ruled natural causes. If you believe that, you likely also believe Lori's ex husband and Tylee's father Joseph Ryan's 2018 'heart attack' death was natural too!

He was already paying for Lori's new home and everything, and she was getting around $6,000 or so from the government for JJ's disability. What greed. She seemed to be banking on the fact that since Charles was going to be dead, why should she leave money in his account for his employees' pay cheques' right? Ugh, that woman.

@@Lavender-blue80 Agreed - I'm now 100% convinced Tylee's dad Joseph Ryan was another of Lori Vallow & Alex Cox' murder victims in 2018. Lord knows Alex had been pursuing him for long enough, and there was a financial motive for Lori, ie Tylee's inheritance. By the time 59-year-old Joseph's body was found in his apartment, it was so badly decomposed it was impossible to find the tell-tale signs of foul play. And true to form, Lori made sure his body was cremated in double-quick time - even before his closest family and sister, had been informed of his death! In a supreme twist of irony, I'm also certain Alex Cox was himself murdered by Lori and Chad once he had done their dirty work for them and outlived his usefulness. The timing of Alex's sudden death in December 2019, two months after Tammy Daybell's ,was just too damn convenient for Lori and Chad. They used Alex as their hit man and grave-digger from the start - and when his work was done and the police began closing in, the couple believed they could kill him and scapegoat him for all their crimes. The audio recording of Chad's bizarre 'blessing' over him 2 weeks before he died, sounds very like the last rites. Alex Cox was ruled to have died aged 51 from natural causes - specifically some kind of thrombosis (his lungs were full of blood clots). But many believe the cause was far from natural! Charles Vallow's ex wife Cheryl has always believed both Joseph Ryan and Alex Cox were poisoned. They could also have died from an injection of air into a vein, which mimics the symptoms of cardiac arrest/thrombosis. I would love to see the deaths and autopsy reports of Joseph Ryan and Alex Cox examined and reassessed by a respected medical examiner, eg British pathologist Dr Richard Shepherd, whose distinguished record speaks for itself. Needless to say, Alex was cremated on his sister Lori's orders, faster than you can say 'foul play'! Thank God Lori was not in charge of her love rival, Chad's wife 49 year old Tammy Daybell's funeral arrangements. Chad was in charge, and he messed up badly by having her buried, not cremated, meaning a second autopsy subsequently proved homicide by asphyxiation NOT natural causes as first mistakenly stated. Chad must be kicking himself over that to this day! I wonder if Lori expressed any anger towards him? Guess not, as they were both in custody when the police investigation into her death got into gear. It blows my mind Chad was able to bump up Tammy's life insurance premiums weeks before she died, and receive the full payout on that and other policies on her death - totalling $430,000 - without insurers questioning a damn thing! A nice nest egg to launch his new married life with Lori just 2 weeks after Tammy's funeral. That pair were utterly brazen! Makes you wonder how many other spouses got away with murdering their wife/husband for a juicy life insurance payout. They were so many red flags over Tammy's death it was blinding! You'd think life insurance companies would be alert to the danger of insurance policies providing a motive for murder, as happened with alarming regularly in this case! But like the police failure to arrest Alex and Lori over Charles Vallow's shooting death, many supposed professionals were caught napping by these diabolical killers. Chandler Police in particular must be held accountable over their shocking failure to arrest Alex Cox and Lori Vallow for Charles' obvious foul play, shooting death. If those cops had done their jobs and followed basic police procedure, the subsequent murders of the two children Tylee and JJ, and Chad's wife Tammy, could have been stopped!

So, Chad couldn't stand to stay in his house after he killed Tammy, but once Lori was in jail he went right back to that house. Now his children live in the home where their mother was murdered. I have been following this since the day the kids were reported and it just keeps getting worse!! :-(

The fact she never once wondered why both of HER kids were Zombies but none of HIS were shows she wanted to believe it. Also how selfish and twisted HE is. I hope he gets the firing squad. She can spend the rest of her days in jail living with it, since it seems other than herself he is the only person in the world she cares about. If she is capable of caring for anyone but herself.

i’m glad the wheels of justice are again moving. Does anyone else think that Lori became even more homicidal towards her kids, especially JJ, when she figured out that charles’ life insurance payout wasn’t coming her way ? I still think she’s not all there. A smart and otherwise worldly, sane individual would never think of Chad’s books as anything but self-serving, poorly written drivel.

Chad is an oversized thumb with an unjustifiable ego and he writes exactly how I'd expect an oversized thumb to write. A small vocabulary and his sense of self is almost as bloated as his thumby body. Also, he sounds like a creepy uncle whose vocal tone betrays that he's thinking of something inappropriate. Total creep.

Really makes me wonder if they believed the stories they were telling themselves about people taken over by evil spirits or it was just a way to cover up their lust for $$$?? I think deep down they both knew they were creating a false narrative but it was a way to make themselves feel better about what they were doing! They both went along with this fantasy deep down knowing it was bs But they were able to look at each other as loving individuals who were doing a good deed😏 Sick af. I can hardly stomach anymore news about this case. I feel nauseous as hell right now 😔
