His relationship with Diane was interesting because she's the only female he got close to without sleeping with her. I think he had romantic feelings for her at first but throughout the show he starts loving her as a best friend rather than romantic partner. Every sexual relationship Bojack had never worked out in the end so he didn't want to risk losing Diane as well. They parted ways at the end in a healthy way at least.

More like the opposite. She specifically told BoJack to _stop_ drinking.

@CatMaster90001 oh please. She just enjoyed yelling at Bojack because cleaning up his constant messes gave her life meaning. If she genuinely wanted to help Bojack she would have set real boundaries, encouraged him to get real help, and convince him to take responsibility for his actions instead of covering his ass. She even went as far as covering up the fact he strangled his costar. And suggested telling the press that the Sarah Lynn story was a hoax. If PC were more like Diane Bojack would’ve gotten sober a lot sooner, and if Diane wasn’t in his life, he probably would’ve stayed on that toxic path of PC covering up his mistakes and not letting be held accountable until he died.

@Kenny Hilton Gee I don’t know, maybe because she never let Bojack face the real consequences of anything bad he did, and constantly covered his ass. How is it not the definition of enabling?

I really got confused when she said "I believe all I say". Did she mean she convinced herself everything she said was true, desoute it wasn't, or did she mean she wouldn't ever say something she disn't actually believe?

She gave the speech to motivate BoJack to get off the lawn, not cause she meant it, means she’d say whatever to get a favorable outcome
