Really bugs me how they messed up Hollyhock, she doesn't have a satisfying ending, we never find out what was in the letter and Bojack doesn't have the chance to fix things. Wakksberg set up Hollyhock to be a new important character at the end of season 4, but didn't know what to do with her afterwards.

@@meris8486 I think it was a great conclusion to her though. She got disgusted about stuff Bojack did and cut all connections with him, as any real person would.
This is rare but this show ended perfectly. It was loyal to it's message to the very end. Life is not a TV show, there is no great conclusion at the end with fireworks cracking in the background. Life just goes. That's why show ended with no happy or very sad end. Bojack didn't find love, didn't find peace, didn't die, he just must live on like we all does. Perfect.

For me the perfect ending was episode 15 tbh. After The View From Halfway Down, the ending episode just felt out of context i guess. Sure, what you wrote is all true, but man the feels and the overall closure with the hearth monitor beeps from the credits just made the show kinda whole for me.
