    Couldn't remember the name of the place, until I read the questions they all got right. Once upon a time, when I was reading almanacs from cover to cover and sitting in European History class in high school 55 years ago, I would have remembered. Well done, all three. I feel proud to have lived long enough to see regular Jeopardy! return. That's assuming I don't croak in the next 24 hours.

    Just a quick recap on Lucas Partridge: We all know him as a 3 game champion. He got 3 out of the 9 Daily Doubles available in his run and answered one correctly. His first game was a runaway and he went all in on his third game. He answered all three Final Jeopardy questions correctly. He won over $20,000 in every one of his games and, if I did the math correctly, had an average coryat score of $15,666. He's also technically the longest reigning champion in the show's history.

    I really don't like this question for its vagueness (even though they all got it), especially with regards to what we are going to classify as an inland sea. The Dead Sea and Sea of Galilee are both smaller than the Sea of Marmara (even though they don't meet 1 or 2 of the other qualifiers). You can certainly argue (correctly) that these are lakes, but that just makes the "world's smallest inland sea" clue misleading, since it doesn't point to a single size.

  • @istvanfekete1961
    @istvanfekete196121 күн бұрын

    No, Ken. That is not a spelling error. It is actually an alternative spelling. The clue itself was pretty straightforward. The only challenge is remembering the name of the sea that connects the Black Sea to the Aegean Sea. I think the contestants were a little nervous today, which would explain the three Daily Double misses. I'll be rooting for Victoria in the Masters Tournament.
