Thank goodness he trapped her and didnt shoot her! I understand being afraid she could damage things but I could never understand killing an animal because of it. So good on the farmer sparing her and her babies.

Bobcats usually do not cause that much trouble but they will sometimes kill poultry and very small livestock. It is usually more of a don't really want a predator around but don't want to kill it either. A lot of people will do the same for foxes and raccoons if they are causing trouble but haven't actually killed anything yet.

People would never shoot their dogs or cats when they damage couch, furniture, or whatever, then why they kill these wild animals who don't know what damaging things mean. They do their thing and that's just natural thing for them. I agree, I am grateful he captured mom. It would have been tragic.

They're so cute and squeaky, but you can tell they're no ordinary kittens when you look at those paws. Just a hint of how big and majestic they can grow to be!

they’re like: hooman! do not defy me! i am scare cat! hooman! put down!

I love it. That hissing looks so cute, it’s like they are saying “ fear us human.”

The name of each kitten, Cobalt, Indigo, and Azul, mean blue.

They are one lucky bobcat family. Mom must be frantic when she can hear her babies crying when you take them out to weigh them. It is nice to see how relaxed Mom is with her babies. She obviously realizes they are safe at BCR.

I'm sooooo glad that the farmer contacted you guys instead of shooting mama bob kitty.

It's unusual to hear kitty babies making those noises! More screams than meows! They are definitely wild babies!

If you do not look closely the bobcat pups look like normal kittens . Congratulations *Big Cat Rescues* now the feline family is expanding :D

Visitors to BCR are not allowed to see the Bobcat Rehabilitation Center. Every care is taken to keep them wild for release back into the wild.

So precious! Sky is taking great care of her babies! Cant wait to see them grow up at be released back into the wild! 💕

Awww what a beautiful family

Wow, I was wondering how BCR would handle a pregnant or nursing mother wildcat. Sky's presence should help TREMENDOUSLY when it comes to the training portion of rehab. Who better to teach them to hunt and avoid humans than a Mama Bobcat? I hope the kittens gain weight and grow up healthy, with the fierce cattitudes that will serve them well as wild bobcats!

I remember hearing such a story! They didn’t know till police showed up to collect it and potentially arrest them for illegally owning it

Looks like a kitten to me, lol

I’m glad you guys are making serious efforts to preserve these species in the wild. In the area where I live, the prey animals (especially deer and turkeys) are totally out of control due to the loss of natural predators.
