I remember helping my sister with her bottle babies. They just turned 1yr in December.

I have to tip my hat to the ladies looking after Bravo & Tango. They're so calm, cool and collected. I'd be screeching my head off with excitement. I understand why you lovely care givers are being so low voiced after you explained in the live clip of Bravo & Tango getting fed yesterday. Never would have thought about the low voices happening. So you taught me something new, yet again, BCR!!! BIG thanks to all there at BCR that are helping Bravo & Tango get that chance to go back into the wild again!!!

Oh My Goodness! They are Sooo Cute!! Just a thought, when we used to bottle feed little kittens we used a towel under the bottle and put the kitten's paws on it so they could knead it like they would on their mother and their little claws would not get stuck in your hands.

Another reason why i want to work at bcr

It's always a joy to see the wonder of a new life just beginning. Since you don't breed (completely understandable), that makes an opportunity like this all the more special.

With so many cats at BCR forever confined, it must feel great to help some that can live free one day. They're really enjoying the raw meat...soon the fingers will look tasty too. I guess that's when it's time to eat out of the bowl.

They might be easier to nurse if they had something to knead on at the same time, like a Snuggle Safe cat. The babies kept pawing at the air and clipping your hands but one of the babies settled down when his paws found purchase on something instead of flailing around. Its probably messy to involve a stuffed animal posed underneath your bottle but maybe it would help keep the kittens fixated on the fur instead of humans.

Oh my goodness! They do love that meat. Yummy. Cute as bugs ears, they are. But the reason they are in your care enrages me. We seriously need to take a step back and reevaluate what we are. We are not the owners of all we survey. At all. And because of humans and humans alone, we are wiping out species as though they have no right to be here because we need their habitats for our own selfish needs. They should have left them where they found them. The mom does not abandon her babies unless she gets killed.

It is important when around any of our rehab bobcats to stay silent so they do not get used to humans. These two are 2 1/2 weeks old in this video. A domestic cat that age can be a third that size, and the bobcats grow fast.

That is adorable! Question: Since you've got them so young, would you guys think of using them as ambassador animals, or will they get to hang out as normal rescue animals?

We do not agree with having ambassador animals at our sanctuary. These two are a part of our rehab program, and they idea is to release them back to the wild when they are ready.

I would have named at least one of them Robert ;)

We will have more about these two as they make their way through the rehab program.

From England: Bravo and Tango are so cute, they are in very good hands, do you have to feed them through the night as well? you guys are great!

We feed them three times a day, but we do not have to do it in the middle of the night.

They can be introduced to solid food that young? I foster kittens and you don't even want to think about that until 5-6 weeks old.

It is important when rehabbing baby bobcats of this age to wean them as soon as possible to alleviate being handled by humans. Too much human imprinting can make these bobcats not releasable.

@@bigcatrescue I get that provention of imprinting makes or breaks their ability to be released. I just always thought that all cats would die if you took this approach. Domestic cats surely will.

It is the plan to release them back to the wild. Once these babies are weaned of of the bottle, then there will no longer be contact with these two.

Always with our rehab program, we plan on releasing them back to the wild.
